@@rip_helios No, I think Banjara(s) are semi-nomadic tribes in Rajasthan and the surrounding area and it is also referred to as someone who is living a nomad lifestyle. However *wanjaro* وڻجارا is a person who travels for trade, through sea or land. Sindhi Hindus were very accomplished traders/ wanjaras (actually they still are ). They not only used to sell/buy stuff in the Indian subcontinent but fleets of trading ships used to go to Malaysia, Indonesia, the Middle East , North Africa, East Africa, and Gibraltar. And on average these voyages used to take a long time between 6 months to 2 years. So in Sindhi folklore and in literature, there are many mentions of Wanjaras, and in almost all cases they are from the perspective of women; the wife, or the lover of wanjara. Because she is the one who suffers from separation, loneliness or Hijr as Wanjaro, himself is too much occupied with the trading and he is indifferent to the feelings of his wife/lover. Shah Latif has poetry on wanjara too, type * sur samondi shah latif* in google search bar. I am sure you would like it.
