जगद्गुरु संत तुकाराम महारांचा 339 वा पालखी सोहळा 28 जूनला पंढरपूरकडे प्रस्थान ठेवणाराय...त्याआधी तुकोबांच्या चांदीच्या पालखी रथाला चकाकी देण्याचं काम युद्ध पातळीवर सुरू करण्यात आलंय...यावेळी कोल्हापूरच्या हुपरी गावातील चांदीच्या कारागिरांना तुकोबांची सेवा करण्याचा मान मिळालाय...मुख्य मंदिराच्या गाभाऱ्यातील दोन खांब, चांदीच्या पालखी रथाला चकाकी देण्याचं काम 27 जणांची टीम करत आहे. . चांदीच काम करणाऱ्या कारागिरांना तुकोबांची सेवा करण्याचा मान मिळाला आहे. हुपरी गावचे हे तरुण आणि अनुभवी सेवेकरी पाच- सहा वर्ष सावळ्या विठ्ठलाच्या चरणी देखील हीच सेवा अर्पण करत होते. यावेळी तुकोबांची सेवा करण्याची इच्छा व्यक्त केल्याने देहू संस्थानने त्यांना चांदीच्या पालखी रथाला चकाकी देण्याची संधी दिली आहे.
