omg thank you!! at first, i was a little on edge with this... i got worried incase after i deleted everything off my photos, it’ll somehow disappear on google photos. but it worked, and now i’m so happy! i can finally take pictures, videos, and download games and apps! i appreciate this so much!

Yes I haven’t been able to take pictures in weeks and I deleted almost all my apps. It’s so frustrating. “iPhone storage full” I still have lots of iCloud space, but it’s the literal phone storage. Thank you!

Great video! I had over 9000 pics... and roughly half of them were screenshots and video (screen recordings) of memes I had sent over the years! Icloud wasn't allowing me to delete a lot... I'm glad google is here to save the day with their app! I might go to Android when I need my next phone upgrade LOL

As a relatively new user just to get a feel for iOS, I basically like my iPhone but prefer Android overall for the very reason presented here. SO much easier to store photos and many other files on an internal SD card…which, of course, Apple doesn’t offer because it wouldn’t provide more profit from forcing users to keep upgrading iCloud storage. With my iPhone, I’ve been doing the same thing as suggested in the very informative video, but it gets old very quickly and I’m getting tired of playing the Apple game.

Thank you. I uploaded my photos from iCloud to my computer then double deleted like they make you do & they deleted everything on my computer. I despise iCloud. No instructions really chaotic way to treat such valuable information in everyone’s phone. Thank you for making this very clear video. Checking every move now deleting one photo first.

You have access to all of your photos through your phone, they are just up in the cloud, so you'll need Internet access. You can download individual or albums back down to your phone whenever you might need them through the app.

On June 1, 2021, Google Photos ended free unlimited storage. As of said date, any _new_ photos or videos backed up to Google Photos in Storage Saver (formerly High Quality) count toward the free 15gb of storage that comes with every Google Account. However, any photos or videos backed up in Storage Saver _before_ said date are exempt from this change and don't count toward the 15gb storage cap

My videos had been in google photos for many months and I lost them when I deleted them from my phone. It also deleted them from my expensive external hard drive and they are not in the trash. I am going to have to keep everything on my phone.

Changing devices won’t affect anything since your photos are stored in the cloud.

Yes, she can, but only if she is signed into your Google Photos account on her phone and sets it up to sync to your account. Hope that helps.
