I love perfect and perfect intense. I definitely don't get banana at all and I've never heard anyone else say this. It's so interesting how different everyone's nose is. I'm super glad that Marc left the daisy's alone for a while and created these beautiful fragrances!

At first smell in store, I got a strong banana note, but my boyfriend couldn’t smell it at all. Definitely interesting how even the same tester strip can smell so different to different people!

Love both as well… The first spray was super strong but oh man from that first stripi was in love and what’s even better is that it doesn’t turn to piss on me 🤗😁😬🤣

I got the whiff of banana first spray but still like it a lot because it smells even better once it settles lol. My husband couldn’t pick up the note and loved the original. I actually prefer the intense

It’s worth the price IMO. I’d strongly recommend anyone try this when you get the chance; it’s a gorgeous nutty warm fragrance on me.

I wanted to tell you that when I started to collect perfumes in earnest last year during COVID-19 you were one of the first I consulted on KZfaq and your suggestions were so helpful. I was looking for fragrances with rose notes and your ideas started my journey. Now, I have more than 100 bottles but when I see your videos I think of how kind you were to get me started. Now, I am rather obsessed but happy. ☺

Thinking about it now, I do get banana. Originally I got a very heavy almond & buttery gone off cookie vibe but banana definitely explains that scent a lot better 🤣

I recently feel in love with the original Perfect, it’s very nostalgic to me as I think it would be for anyone who did performing arts as a hobby in school. It reminds me of marching band, since it smells kind of like hairspray and hay (but better obviously). I think it’s the prefect fall fragrance, even though it was probably meant for spring or summer. Perfect intense was horrible though, very bitter and the almond is dialed up to 1000 whereas I don’t smell it at all in the original. Literally smelled like roasting almonds, dry and bitter

I like warm but also a little fruity perfume but I don’t like when it’s too strong! I pretty like skin scent kind of perfume, I don’t have the opportunity to test it which one you recommande to me ?

I smell the strong sesame cookies and pink pepper on me, but the dry down is a floral.

@@dovalea3988 to answer your question no it's the that strong compare to other perfumes on the market ( I wear libre ysl and lancome la vie e belle e'clat). The opening IS strong and kinda nauseating but once it dries down its pretty.

I would say that this one definitely follows the same theme as the DAISY line. He somehow blends flowers, fruit & powder....and makes it work!❤ He just used different fruits this time!!! It's SUPER SWEET & perfect for somebody. Just....not me!🙊

When I first saw 'Perfect' in the shop I was immediately drawn to it because of the CAP ~ loved it !! 😍 It's very good quality in hand, and all the details are so cute.. I then tested the scent and loved it! Fast-forward a few months and I ordered a small vial of it to test ~ this time around it smelled a little too strong and heavy to my liking, so I chose not to buy a whole bottle. 🤔 Well that was a few years ago now and I actually bought a used bottle TODAY for just $20 !! 50ml, very little used... It's the bottle, I just love it so much and want it for the 'collection'. We'll see if I get to use the perfume itself this time around... ✨ The Intense version I haven't tested at all yet, but BANANA sounds amazing!! 🍌 I still think about the amazing Body Shop BANANA SHAMPOO from the 90s!! LOL And the bottle, once again, LOVE it... But I'd probably rather buy it 'preloved' than brand new. 😊

On first sniff I like the original Perfect. I am still on the fence with Perfect Intense with a lovely dry down on me. It is growing on me. Have not bought a full bottle on either. Don’t know if it is full bottle worthy for me. 🤔

I actually LOVE LOVE this fragrance. My first was a sample and I thought nooo but it grew on me! It’s soo long lasting , I get a warm almond smell. But I love such fragrances and don’t lean to daisy which I think stinks and smells like toilet water 😂. I was a massive fan of LOLA which was discontinued sadly. Yes the price is a lot but it was a fragrance I really wanted lol

It smells a lot like the original Marc Jacobs, but a stingier note as a top note. I would recognise it as a Marc Jacobs fragrance from a line up.

You seem to like the common versace crystaltype profile and ranges, maybe overly fruit bombs, etc I have mahority of them and they don't give me life the way perfect intense does it for me. Chemistry truly is something. This perfume smells literally different for everyone and I love it for that!

Really didn't enjoy this one. It did get better, basically to bearable, but initially I wanted to scrub it off. I might go and try it again and see whether my reaction is the same 😂

I love perfect from last year and thought the bottle lid was gorgeous ~ however, I do nit want to smell like a banana 🍌 🤣 they are getting very expensive, so not sure. I’ve never found their perfumes to last very long or be very unique, but is a nice everyday one

I find Perfect to be a nice sparkly fresh floral smell for warmer weather and Perfect intense a strong thick fresh, slightly sweet smell of roasted almonds, the longevity and projection super! Love intense, it's just perfect for me 🙂

I get banana for the first couple of minutes. Not banana floral like Mike kors original or Kim k floral banana . The banana smell dissipates and I get a wild strawberry that is so fresh it still has the green mossy smell as if it's hanging ripe ready to be picked. The mossy essence really perplexed me at first. Then it stayed in that strawberry moss vibes for a good while, then the almond came about, then it stayed a nice creamy warm and fresh scent ... it's been 2 days and I still smell the 1 spritz the counter woman sprayed on my jacket to sample. It's $139 , a dollar less than what I originally went in to sample which is the ysl libre intense, which smelled like la viva juicy to me It's a happy accident and I can't wA I T to get my hands on the marc jacobs perfect _intense_ 👌

I don’t like this line either. The original is okay, but nothing special. The intense I find too heavy on the yellow florals, which I don’t like. Marc Jacobs perfumes just aren’t for me

I went to Ulta in New York after hearing you call it a "banana" perfume. You were right! It is like buying fresh ripe bananas from a farmer's market in the summertime. I like that it is different and brings something new to the gourmand table. I checked Ulta's website, and now they have 3 different sizes, different price points, and a rollerball. It definitely performs like an EDT, but I like that it's edgy and dark but fun and not heavy! Great for the edgy girl in July hooking up with a guy for a summer fling! 😎🍌

I don’t like intense (did not get bañas from it) I do not like sandalwood so this got me. But I went CRAZY for perfect. The Cashmeran with the creaminess of the almond milk and the balance of the rhubarb and daffodil… OMG! It really got me. Btw, in the US, perfect retails at $122 (£94) for the 1.6 oz bottle (about 40ml) for 10 more ml we paye +£34 😂

Yes!!!! I haven't seen anyone else mention popcorn...but I definitely get a buttery popcorn smell. I tried to like it because I own/like the original. Intense...not for me.

I bought intense on a whim, but I'll definitely not be purchasing again. I don't know what it is (probably me and my body chemistry) but the opening is heavy a pink pepper and Sesame seed oil smell, but the dry down is really pretty foral. So pretty mix views on it for me. 😕 definitely not working the price😕 Smells different on the paper tester than your skin. Fair warning

I smelled both & didn’t like them at all. My mother on the other hand loves them. All noses are different. I hope Marc jacobs steps it up. I’m underwhelmed.

I agree with you I bought 100ml and its awfull its really weak don't last im very disappointed for an intense perfume it dont last 5 min never again what a waste money when I could hade one my favourite si smells all day £ 105 wasted
