Great singing, very pleasant voice. My first guess was Tab Hunter & Tuesday Weld then I realized the fellow did not quite look like Tab Hunter. Someone sent me a song by Bobby Darin just a few minutes later and I finally figured out it was Sandra Dee. I had to look it up to get "Troy Donahue". Have a great day, Marc. ~~~JP

With - The Percy Faith Orchestra - Borrowed for vocal version only. Marilyn, You're Welcome ! I'm glad you like this classic. I use to hear this song a lot on the radio my Father would listen to, back in Australia when I was very young. Until now I thought I would do a vocal version of using The Original recording of - The Percy Faith Orchestra. It seemed to turn out okay. After a few vocal recording takes ...and lowering The Orchestra recording. It was a Challenge compared to the other recording project. I'm glad I have a some what of a vocal range or else It wouldn't have been recorded. As I couldn't lower Percy Faiths Orchestra recording any more. It would have sounded wonky and to slow. So I had to settle with the Key I sang it in, which was quite okay. As Singers, like Jack Jones & Tony Bennett would some times defy their actual vocal range ....and sing a little higher and still sound great. I'm Also glad you enjoyed the video pics edit from the cast mostly - Troy Donahue & Sandra Dee. Have a lovely Wednesday & Week. Many Thanks Again Marilyn. (Re-Mastered vocal demo version only) Augusto, I agree, this classic as the song title says, takes you to another place and time, away from the hustle bustle of city life. To - The Sea and the Beaches where there are homes and holiday houses are spread around the sea shores. What a Peace life back then ! : ) I had to record this Ballad. It hasn't been recorded in years. So I'm trying to bring them back with my vocal versions. And Yes ! I am trying to get a Major Record Label interested in my Vocal Talent. Cheers Marc, Thanks for your reply to my comment and thanks for your support of my channel I do appreciate that my friend. The videos that I share on KZfaq are talents that I have enjoyed since I was a child but my main passion in life is teaching about the Christ who is in God and how one can have a true relationship with him through faith and be one with God through Christ. Perhaps in the very near future I will start a new channel or continue in another direction with my current channel. I'm really not sure at this point in time. I have a few talents that I have shared here on KZfaq and I have certainly enjoyed and have appreciated the response from other KZfaqrs but my true passion in life is sharing my deepest experiences of why I believe in God and why I believe that Jesus is the Christ (The Savior of the world) I have spent my life reading and experiencing the word of God. I teach what I have experienced and have learned from a host of teachers from so many different Christian faiths. I guess now is the time to continue with my current channel or begin a new channel. I think I would rather continue with my current channel and show that comedy and magic and whatever else one does can continue and yet I can be a Christian teacher as well ! I think I was born to bring others into a deep relationship with the only true God through Jesus the Christ through the Holy Spirit. The years of educating myself and listen to Frank Sinatra & Jack Jones these Two Singers really educated me as a vocalist in Sydney, Australia. I've been compared to Jack Jones & Vic Damones in vocal tone and vocal range. But I'm being myself as vocalist, and its working. The World Public are enjoying my singing versions. : ) I like the other Singers as well, such as Tony Bennett, Matt Monro, Nat King Cole, Robert Goulet, Jerry Vale..etc.. So having a smooth baritone voice with a very good range is an advantage. When singing a love ballad. That has range. Jack Jones and some of the Singers have that advantage as well. Perfect for the start of summer. I love this one your version is the coolest Marc it's the swinging way you sing it even in a ballad form your vocal still swings has that hip coolness that Sinatra had way back then it's in your great phrasing too. It's a dreamy song fantastic melody and it's a dreamy far away kind of vocal love the way the ending fades out. It's cool that you give accolades to the composers and arrangers all the time I remember Frank always did that. Great scenes there are no summer places on Neptune that's why I like it so much here on your planet. ;) lol Ahhh Sandra Dee wasn't she the cutest thing? Hearing it back in my Country, Sydney, Australia on my Fathers Favorite Radio Station 2CH. I always want to record it ...and how Lucky ...with - The Percy Faith Orchestra. Who is a Canadian Musician/Composer/Arranger. Yes ! Sandra Dee she was quite an attractive actress. I had a crush on her when I a Kid : ) Seeing her in some of her other movies. Troy had Good Look's. Rick you have nothing to worry about. The women dig you here, at You Tube and Face Book with your Gino Vanelli Good Looks ! You're Cool my Friend, and you served in the US Marines. You will find your Sandra Dee one of these my Friend. My Singing Phrasing, I sure did learn from Frank Sinatra and also Jack Jones. ***** YW my buddy you're really so fabulous I get a real joy listening to you sing and interpret these old great standards Marc keep it going!! :) I appreciate what you said haha it's my pleasure for you. but only one of the best? I thought I was the best commentor. haha I'm kidding. ;) I just say it like I see it. That's cool the memories you have fo this on your dad's favorite radio station back in Australia. Great dreamy classic tune. I never heard it sung this cool and swinging even in ballad form. Ahhh my bro thanks so much you made my day special there's no Sandra Dee's on Neptune I hope to find one here on Earth one day. ;) Yea let's have a clambake Elvis'll be there too. haha lots of guys and gals great music from the 60's we'll all sing songs there. @@glennmach Hey Marc my good buddy you're welcome, I'm so sorry I haven't been around much, very rough tiem for me missing my twin and going through health issues, plus a lady I met many years ago has me on skype with her 3 times daily which leaves me not much free time, everyday leaves me worn out, but you're one of my all time favorites here love every song you do, this one has that old time nostalgic feel such beautiful music, the composers and arrangers back than were awesome, love your strong tuneful voice here very cool sounding, I'm hanging in there hope everything is good with you my bro thank you wishing the best blessings on you, and keep the great performances coming,👏🎵 I'm gonna get to a couple right now, Capt 10-4 salute. 🙋‍♂🙋‍♂🤝🤝
