EXCELLENT concert! Marc Martel is EXTREMELY talented. If he was an impersonator, he won’t be able to hit those high notes or won’t be able to sing the ENTIRE Queen’s songs! An impersonator has limits to imitate someone. Marc Martel showed us that his NATURAL talent has NO limits. Everything is possible to God!

Freddie Mercury entered the building in the guise of Marc Martel. This Concert was actually a HAPPENING as we used to say in the 60's. All credit to everyone who graced the stage at this wonderful moment in time. Freddie proved that the Show must go on and Marc delivered an awesome performance. Freddie was such a magical front man but Marc himself is no slouch. Many thanks to everyone who made this possible. 🥰🤩🥰

I would not be surprised if Marc Martel gets more recognition than 'The Queen Extravaganza'. I feel for the original members of Queen but Martel is already up there. His voice, charisma and way of performing Mercuries songs is immaculate. Yeah, Marc Martel is definitely the one.

And this is not even his final form, lol. After he'd hurt his voice the previous day, he struggles with high notes here. Marc sounds much better when he's in better vocal health. Case in point - *Too Much Love Will Kill You* video that was posted earlier on this channel.

I have been listening to the CD; Downhere - Ending is Begining for a few years now. I thought cool it's "Queen". Yesterday I thought I would look this band up especially the singer and I am so glad I did. I grew up listening to Queen. I had no idea this was going on with the man I now know as Marc Martel. Hearing him gives me shivers as his voice has become so close to Freddy's. The band Downhere was formed in Saskatchewan where I grew up and I think Marc must be on a very special journey and can't wait to see where it leads in God. He has been given a very uncanny gift and miracle. I have listened to a few ELVIS impersonators and none are as close to the real thing as this.

3:46 la rupture dans la voix est...magique, car après il continue comme si ce n'était pas arrivé ! :o Ca prouve bien une chose que de chanter avec puissance, juste, au delà de l'émotion etc...c'est plus qu'une question de voix, c'est de la technique, beaucoup de techniques et pour ça Marc Martel, il en est un surdoué car chanter du Queen avec une voix plus que proche de celle de Freddie Mercury, qui puis est SVP en LIVE, il en faut du talent et reconnaitre ce travail derrière ! Respect à lui et MERCI de faire revivre à sa façon, le regretté Freddie :)

Not really. The Day at the Races Tour in Montreal was in 1977 not 76. But since he's from canada. Mama might've met Freddie at another Queen Concert in Britain. and Freddie does want to everything with everyone. lol.

Queen was in NY Feb 76, Marc was born Nov 76. 9 months? Yes. Marc was born in Montreal, like 5 hours north of NY. It was confirmed that Marc's mom went to NY that night for the concert. Edit: Freddie broke up with Mary Austin in Dec 76. Reason? He knew he already has a 1-month old son.

Having listened to Marc's rendition of WWTLF I must say I'm simply flabbergasted. What I particularly like about his voice is its versatility - he can sound soft or flirtatious but his rock voice is what I am most fond of. The power here is unparalleled. I hope to see him live one day.

The closest I've been able to get so far was live broadcast from Montreux 2016 convention and it was a blaaaast.

Certainly Freddie's energy and behavior live was a spectacle in itself, but musically and vocally, Martel is almost a perfect match.

katherine i saw him live in Venezuela so many years ago i was 13een and i can say Marc's voice it's almost the same but the scenario presence it's totally different, the freddie's presence and energy is tottally absent ... but the voice What a VOICE !! i used to heard Marc with eyes closed and i feels freddy voice!!

Impressionante o talento e a similaridade com Freddie Mercury, tanto fisicamente quanto com o timbre vocal. A banda Queen deveria fazer uma turnê com ele e efetiva-lo ao posto maximo.
