A midfielder was needed even before the Eriksen injury. Glad we've got one now at least. He looks decent. Definitely gives more defensive protection than Eriksen

I agree with Donny also out we ideally needed 2 midfielders but good thing is with sabitzer's defensive rate he could fill in for casemiro, he is actually better than eriksen when it comes to tacking but the Dane has him beat when it comes to creating. The fact that sancho and martial are back is also a massive bonus. ETH could well become the greatest manager since SAF, only reason I say could and don't say he is, is because mourinho did get us Europa league Cup. This season I'm thinking if ETH can get 1 trophy and top 4 then we have had an amazing season, then next season we could really be challenging for title.

@@ethanmccormack9561 League cup is a must win, no excuses. Before the Eriksen injury I'd say we'd for sure get top 4. Now I have more doubt, but I still expect us to get 3rd or 4th. I'm excited for the Barca game.

@@ethanmccormack9561 yeah I feel he is the best manager since SAF because he seems to be a problem solver. Hopefully the glazers sell and the new owners give ETH the backing he needs. He is way ahead of time, some people were saying he needs 3 seasons to be challenging for the title. with other managers you wondered what they did in training.

@@michael43567 A must win is far fetched remember Newcastle have the best defensive record in the prem while being joint with us on pts . It'll be no easy task !!!! The fact eth has done all of this in one season is outstanding , Next summer is when i'll start judging him after he signs 3 - 4 more players then we'll see real Ten Hagg football .

I love Eriksen but have someone who can drive forward but also come back and be combative and help Casemeiro is just the dream, no matter who it is.

@@sharontata4136 I disagree we play with a high line he has a eye for a cross and not shy at having a shot . I think he will do well. Sure look at Casmerio he's starting to score r goal r 2 and he's our pivot. Anything better than have McSauce in the midfield 🤣🤣

A bit more defensive and physical to his game than eriksen. Cleans up any mess in midfield and plays forward when he can. Will come back and defend his own box when needed to. Looks promising tbh.

First time seeing him in this video. Impressions: Intelligent and also Smart Extremely aware of his surroundings (unlike Maguire) Hard work in pressing and recovery (ala Casemiro) Picks and delivers accurate passes (ala Erikssen) Not a drama queen (unlike Bruno) Good ball control (ala Rashford but without the attacking dribbling) Seems like a good signing apart from mentality thing which Ten Hag is a master in fixing.

The great thing about the comment's section, is those who know football and those who don't. Those who can see the attributes a player can bring into a team and those who can't see what constitutes quality. I think you'll find he'll bring many positives to United, irrespective of his lack of playing time amongst established players in Munich.

He fits our system more than Eriksen does though, he’s someone with defensive capabilities who is combative and can also drive forward. Although Eriksen is better technically, Sabitzer offers more. Still don’t know if he will work or not though, Eriksen is better.

He has far better clips at RB Leipzig before he joined Bayern. At bayern he was being benched by kimmich and the other Germans and rarely saw game time, that's why he jumped at ETH idea of joining man utd. Where he will have the chance to show that he's still got it
