This song was originally written and sang by Jennifer Rush in 1984.no 1 hit in UK.. .been covered by a few artists including Celine dion.. Just incase you didn't know 😉👍

I added a comment re Jennifer Rush before I noticed yours and I agree with you. As I recall it, Celine's management tended toward leaving the impression the songs originated with her and that has left it's footprint on a number of performers including Lara Fabian and the like. Take Care David

If you want to hear Marcelito Pomoy's voice, check out his rendition of Despacito (original Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee) and also when he does this in Spanish. He sang with Morisette Amon where they did the Little Mix's (with Jason Derulo) Secret Love Song, then you can hear his singing voice. If you want to see how good he is at switching between a male and female voice, check the remote control challenge where he sings Endless Love (originally Lionel Ritchie and Diana Ross) and the switch is controlled by someone else. He can also sing in Chinese. Now he does not speak Italian, Mandarin, Spanish he his mimics the sounds that the original artists sing.

On the high notes, I hear Céline. On the lower notes, the attacks sound more masculine to me, but they're still wonderful to hear. I also really like the way he looks when he sings, because I can tell he's concentrating on the music (and not on showbiz, ...). Thanks for this one, Jenna, and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow! PS: I've noticed that every time you play after pausing, it drags a bit. That's strange because with my KZfaq app (premium account), when I pause, it buffers the next minute so I get what's coming next instantly when I click the play button. (Perhaps this is a feature reserved for premium users).

Yeah I’ve been having buffering issues. I think it’s more because I’m running a recording client, plus my camera, plus KZfaq. And I’m just using a laptop. So I think the firepower gets a little dragged down. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Tried a bunch of troubleshooting but nothing helped, so just rolling with it!

@@PW_Thorn Yeah, the reason I haven’t done that is because I wanted to leave all the reactions unedited so people didn’t think I was curating what I was saying. I only edit the beginning intro and outro. So I’ve already thought a lot about it. But thank you!

After Jennifer Rush co-wrote and composed this song and performed it way back in the 80's it was covered by a number of singers and bands including Celine and Air Supply. Here is a link to an old live performance by Jennifer (big hair and all) and I also see him following her original version very closely even the bit you were "waiting for". Be careful what you wish for. He sings a duet with Mori at the Wish Bus Awards, and at first is mimicking her, but then starts singing in his "real" voice and it isn't anything special. It's "Secret Love Song" if you want to find it.
