He only fought once jeez Lots of great mma fighters lost early in their careers. Then improved dramatically and went on to be top fighters or even champions. John Fitch and Matt Hughes to name a few. Can't fight once and expect to be amazing at it overnight. Takes a while he wasn't fully committed to mma. His true passion was and is pure grappling. Even though he lost his first and only mma match. He dominated the grappling.
