Blood Choke is a misnomer as chokes refers to restricting air/oxygen. I think you are thinking about carotid restraints or sleeper holds are a form of strangulation that compress one or both carotid arteries and/or the jugular veins without compressing the airway, hence causing cerebral ischemia and a temporary hypnotic condition in the brain aka restricting Blood flow to the brain. =P

isdaeekerman I know I use it a lot too. But you see he attacks at 6’33 from right side then at 6’35 he is perfectly placed to finish from here but he prefers pass to left side to finish his north south at 6’40 I don’t know why.

@Jhon Famo I saw a north south. It’s not an arm triangle because Marcelo has only the head. In an arm triangle you need the neck with an arm inside.

Marcelo used his chest to push Pablo’s hands further away from his neck, then used his left arm to trap it there. Pablo’s hands were pinned between Marcelo’s left arm and his chest, so he went to the left side to attack the choke with his right arm that was free.
