I JUST LOVE YOUR SEGMENT WHERE YOU SHOWCASE OTHER STITCHER’S FINISHES. Your precious grand baby and family will be in my prayers. Praying for a healthy baby. I had one child (a daughter) and she and her husband gifted my husband and I with 3 precious grandchildren. My son in law is an OB. He delivered the third child and I was able to be present for the birth and cut the cord. It was an incredible honor.

I need to get me a friend named Dave! That stand is amazing! I have all those issues you had, my stand constantly collapses under my arm while I stitch. 😂

Wow! First time viewer here. When I watched you review your needlework stand, I realized what I have been fighting all along with mine...it doesn't tip!! I am always trying to get the angle right. So I immediately ordered one! He needs a helper to handle all the orders! I am retired with 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The first time I held my granddaughter, I simply breathed her..."Flesh of my flesh and bone of my bone." God is SO good! Thank you for a wonderful time together!

The Lady was absolutely gorgeous! I'm Catholic. I was taught the story about the Virgin Mother appearing to the 3 children of Guadeloupe. This piece is stunning. Too full of coverage then I can produce. I love it! Thank you for covering this piece. Awesome to the person who stitched it. The Kingdom of Books was complete awesome! ♥️

I will definitely pray for Katie's safe delivery and healthy baby. Such an exciting time!! My niece, who sees beautifully, made her first grand baby's Baptismal gown. She was SO stressed! Literally finished it just hours ahead of time!! Strss wrecks your body and makes you sick. Don't do it!

I read your news today that you’ll be retiring from finishing. I’m not one of your clients, but have so valued your tutorials. They have given me the knowledge and confidence to begin finishing so many of my own smalls. I’m sure letting go is difficult, but rest assured that you can take some measure of credit for THOUSANDS of finishes you’ve inspired by so generously sharing your techniques. More time for stitching and family.

Apparently the Vonna Marketing Dept did a good job because it will be quite a few months before i receive mine. So much for Dave's retirement. Joan was so nice to communicate with on my order!!

Dear Vonna, you made my day by sharing my Summer Moon by Plum Street. It was one that I stitched monogamously because I just could not put it down. I say I am a cross stitch carpenter as I love to stitch houses so much. I got tickled at all the new baby preparations...It brought back my excitement when I found out I was going to be a grandmother. That granddaughter will graduate from high school this May! What a lovely time you are going to have with that precious one. As usual I loved your stitching and I count Joanie as a friend( online) as well. She let me borrow a unicorn chart once and I have never forgotten that! Her husband will have lots of orders for that stitch stand. You can tell a stitcher designed it!!

I want you to know that you can get Isle Royal National Park by boat. There are charters available. While you're in Northern Michigan, visit the Cross in the Woods in Indian River. It's a real blessing and holy place. The gardens are beautiful. 😊❤

I will definitely pray for her! I love the idea of a stitched piece for each grand kid! (My daughter’s favorite color is blue) Those are the cutest burp cloths ever and those blankets are going to be precious! That stand sounds like a dream! I made receiving blankets for all of my grandbabies. I made them 36" by 36", crocheted the edges with #8 thread. My daughters loved them because they were so much bigger than the ones that you can buy.

I watch all the time but don’t often get a chance to comment. I just want to say what an inspiration you are. Your creativity is a gift from God and I can see it spilling out of you as you have more ideas than time to execute. If your heart still feels the baptismal gown and your family would appreciate it, then don’t write yourself off. You absolutely can and will do it. Give yourself grace Vonna, you are so generous and giving and talented and I would hate to see you regret not doing the baptismal gown. Blessings and wishes from Northern Ireland, Sarah.

Thank you for sharing the stand, I have been looking for a change in how I stitch and this seems perfect. Thanks for showing how you stitch with it as well, very helpful. Your grandchild is so blessed to have you and your whole family. Our son got married last year so we are hopeful that we will be grandparents one day. 48 years ago I was gifted a self-binding receiving quilt. It was cotton on one side and small wale corduroy. No batting. Was held together by tacking(tied floss). The cotton side great for spring and summer use the corduroy for fall and winter. Talk about being versatile. The size was big enough for 5 year old to take a nap. It washes well and looks great after hundreds of laundries. Was the Most thoughtful gift ever!! My grown daughter still has it and can survive another generation. I have since made several for friends.

Fun times ahead being a grandmother! And blessings on your church work. Have spent many hours in the kitchen preparing for a funeral dinner.

Wonderful updates, yes I did order the stitch stand, and I am looking forward to using it, as mentioned it really does address most of the problems with lap stands I have owned in the past. Loved seeing all of the items made for the new addition to the family, its always nice to be able to create things needed for the babies, I know I did quite a lot :)

Oh Miss Vonna, after seeing that BEAUTIFUL nursery, you might consider doing the baby clothes in green, like the walls of the nursery. How cute that the legs were crossed for the entire time. Gonna be a precious addition to your family!! I also make everyone burp rags, but only flannel and terrycloth. Love your videos.
