I was there..man has it really been 33 years..wow!

I remember watching this game. Then the college basketball world came to a halt later that day when Hank Gathers went down in the WCC conference tournament and passed away a few hours later. Sad.

Derrick Coleman was a true inspiration as a 4 year student athlete at Syracuse. Way to go!!

My mother read Thompson's lips: "That's f-in bull----!" She then laughed her tail off when Thompson waived to the 33,000 in the Dome. One of THE funniest moments of that rivalry!
