A special brass band was put together to play around the Barnsley Race for Life by cancer survivor Joanne, who has now finished her treatment for breast cancer. Made up of players from Strata and Rockingham Brass Bands, they set the runners off with a burst of music before marching around the 5k Locke Park course, while playing a selection of classic and contemporary tunes - adding an extra special atmosphere to the day.
