I don't want to miss speak but. This is the coolest thing that I have ever seen with hbcus. To be able to see the generation of dancing dolls display at homecoming 2019 was out of this world. My first Bayou Classic as a child was 1982 and the experience from that always a special place in my heart for Southern University. My psychology degree is from Southern University at New Orleans. Value of Southern University in Louisiana is tremendous and is to be uploaded to see beautiful women Through the Ages dance with style Elegance and grace. Great SU 💙 💛 💙 💛 💙 💛 💙 💛 💙

@@DigitalDezinesCEO late response but keep in mind these are "new fans" without the 90s era transitions, these younger girls would not exist just my opinion but as Kristie Vincent said, we are great because the 80s are great, the newer squads are great because the 90s were great. Seaera said she raised watching the dolls from the 90s and she wanted to bring that essence back. These children have no understanding. The 90s dolls are no joke.

Give me the legendary 90’s dolls All day everyday. Unmatched technique, beauty, grace and class on 1000%. After that decade it’s nothing but wigs and too much makeup except for a few of the ladies, beautiful costumes tho, (in my Aretha Franklin voice)

I grew up watching the 90s Dolls. They had the best strut! I wish they had a camera to follow them specifically because I didnt get enough of them this weekend! As for the makeup and wig comment. I have to disagree. I love the current Doll look. Its more polished. Their hair is always on point and nicely done. I get your point though. I dont think weaves were allowed back in the day. You had girls with really long hair, medium and really short cuts. Things have definitely changed especially their dance style.

After watching this it now makes you wonder . . . . why is this not standard practice? The Ball players do this all the time. This is the first time i have ever seen anything like this For the people wondering why the older women are so good; They have the benefit of experience. Imagine if you could go back in time to your past except you can take your knowledge with you. You would have a huge advantage. The newer girls are young and fresh and have the bodies but still have to "think".

How many decades of DD took part? From wha year to current? Anyone know?

All decades participated in this. From the original Dancing Dolls from 1969, the 70's were leading them in with the long sleeved dark blue uniforms. The 80's with the blue and gold one shoulder, the 90's with the baby blue leotards & blue shoes. The 2000's were in the capes, the 2010 forward were in the leopard print leotards with the gold fluer de lis on front. Hope this helps!
