When I heard y'all lost yer sponsor ship, I said well I used to dive in the navy, but it's been awhile.. anyway we'll have yer vessel salvaged in no time flat.. Correct me if I’m wrong, but couldn’t joe have used Jarred’s ability to sack Y&M in response to the attack trigger on the boar? Else’s Norn doesn’t enter the battlefield until that ability resolves, and triggered abilities can be responded to, so isn’t there a window?

Joe is still the owner of the enchantment. You can enchant your opponents creatures and the enchantment is still your permanent, while the creature continues to be your opponents.

you can deff still respond and sack yargle before elesh hits the battlefield. "in response to attack triggers..." at 19:15.

I think the issue is once you see elesh norn the trigger has resolved. She does not go on the stack like a normal spell

What you are saying is true. However, once Elesh Norn is shown, it is too late to respond. You would have to respond in the dark without knowing what is coming if you want to sacrifice the frog overlord.

Does Virtue of Loyalty still untap under Vorinclex? not trying to umm actually but the wording makes it sound like it only untaps creatures that got counters from it

Yes. There is a period between the effects now if it was phrased as all one effect then I don't think it would be still not sure about this second part. Hope this helps.

Um.... Just wanna point this out. Sagas that get multiple counters on them at once trigger each of their chapters... Except if they have Read Ahead. Urza Summons the Titans third chapter should not have triggered because of Read Ahead. Edit: my bad that only applies on ETB not if it triggers later.

Hello! We have been updating everyone is the discord, Community Channel here on youtube, and on patreon. CSI gave us a two episode notice before the sponsorship ends. So this episode and next will still be supported by them. This gives us time to manage patron and TRY to find another sponsor. Sorry for any miscommunication on our part! Another thing that can happen is that things are recorded WEEKS before they air. so sometimes you have something stay on a bit longer than it should. That is not the case here though.

Forgive my ignorance, but when Zebexx cast Assassin's trophy on Kenrith's Transformation, did she not control the enchantment as it was on one of her permanents, thus making the targeting invalid? I'm rusty on the rules regarding control/ownership. Cheers regardless, love your channel and your games!

@@reachwbar Correct. The same applies to equipment. If you equip a creature and someone takes control of it, while the creature continues to be equipped, you still control the equipment. This can be important depending on the wording.

Vorinclex doesn't double planeswalkers loyalty, it does when he is on table and planeswalkers enters with double. But when you uptic planeswalker you are not adding counter, you paying one up. Josh from command zone explained that in many command zone videos

@@iamunnamithere actually is an answer for why they act a little differently. Vorinclex reads, "If you would put one or more counters on a permanent or player..." but Doubling Season reads,"If an effect would put one or more counters on a permanent you control..." The difference that makes in Planeswalkers is just the loyalty abilities (because the loyalty that gets put on them when they enter is an effect). Being that loyalty abilities are costs (i.e. you need enough to ultimate) and not effects, loyalty abilities are not effected by doubling season. They are effected by Vorinclex because he doesn't care how you are putting them on, just that you are. I hope this helps!

in both cases, put 1 loyalty counter on the PW is the cost. However, in the case of Vorinclex, since he doesn't care how the counter got there, the counters are doubled/halved (depending on ownership). Doubling Season checks for an effect to put the counters on, not a cost. That is why Vorinclex works and Doubling Season doesn't.

she had the final chapter of urza assembles the titans active so no, she shouldn't have added 2 counters on the garruk when she upticked it (cause it's a cost not an effect) but that wouldn't have changed the game anyways
