Hi Tina! Thank you for watching another video and writing to me with your question. ☺️ I haven't done a video with that specific tip to clean them, but I feel like I may have mentioned that I sometimes like using Murphys Oil Soap in a pan of room temp water to clean vintage plastic things. It gets things clean and leaves some shine on them. Works on Lucite, hard and soft plastic, and the rubber type vintage soft grape clusters. I rinse them in cooler water to not rinse off the oil. Another nice item to use on plastics is lemon furniture polish wipes. We haven't found the Pledge ones or even generic ones for a long time and don't know why. Now, all we find is a multi surface cleaner wipe package. So sometimes, I'll just spray a cloth with Pledge, etc, can of a lemon wax cleaner/polish. I've even used that way of wiping down hard covers of cookbooks if they have a shiny finish. It cleans them nicely, too. The faux plants, however, that are heavy rubber-like, can just be washed in some liquid mild dish soap. They are pretty tough. If I needed to wash the silk type plants, I'd probably do the same gently in the dish pan. I hope that helps you with some ideas that work for me.💕 I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Hi Christine! Yes, that's definitely what I should have called it. Often, I caught things when editing, but I missed that. When rambling on in videos, many of us say something similar but incorrect. It's maddening. I was listening to Scott from The Old Curiosity Shop earlier this week and he was saying he does that too. I've noticed that I say 'votive' way more than I should when trying to describe a tealight. My 75-year-old brain just isn't as sharp anymore. Thanks for watching our videos! Happy Spring!
