Sad people comment on the negative things about Alcorn rather than the improvement the program has made . May have things to work on, but this is definitely an improved HBCU band overall.

This was a good battle. Miles was in beast mode!!! Alcorn sounds good but I was expecting more sound from a band their size. They don't have as much sound as Miles.

I'm a SWAC guy grew up on Grambling and Southern but Miles sounds very impressive. I never knew about them until now GREAT job Miles College

Miles won but as far as Alcorn sounding bad is just hating. I'm Juke forever but Alcorn put up a good fight. Miles was just too clean and the song selections did it for me. Great battle nevertheless...

Good luck on that, the last time they really really seen each other I was in the band in 02 , True the football team lost but the band took care of business and we got rocks throw at the bus for making the human jukebox look like shit. That year we tooked down two Swac bands and been rolling every since.

Alcorn's 5th quarter selections are so predictable, loud high schoolish arrangements that don't sound good. Miles had a polished sound and some nice arrangements. Finessed alcorn when they needed to and displayed power when they needed to! I would love to see them against jsu or su. This one wasn't close!

The clip iz here this was not the best alcorn at all dont blame first game because look how miles sounding. Most people don't know real music a lot of these Swac bands was built off of just popularity and it's not about popularity anymore it's about having the overall quality and Miles has that People "say" Miles would never do that against SU, JSU, ASU TSU and other bands but let's be real the only time Miles get to see these popular bands are Classic Events but just be patient the work's is in the making.
