Bruh I've played the acoustic and bass guitar from since I was little and hearing Marcin play like this makes me realized I haven't mastered my guitar. His level of playing is phenomenal .I'm just an average player

"79 and counting" You go, 'girl'. :-) My mother in law is 96, and before her recent stroke was walking two miles a day, and still sharp as a tack, so to speak. She is likely not long for this world now, which is probably for the best. I know I wouldn't want to live on like that for a long period, anyway, as there isn't much she can do now but stare at the wall, which probably breaks my heart more than her's. I'm pretty sure she feels the same. Age, especially with reasonably good health, is a blessing. BTW, if that is your dog he/she is cute.

There is more to learn in music, but does all that fit into what only the artist knows and has in his mind to pursue and create; which would be the most sacred secrets that we keep to ourselves. If all you music theologians out there didn't know, let me tell you; there is a Master's degree to be gained through, what? 8 years of college, just to understand the application of one single note and it's placement within its generalized scale--the blues pentatonic scale and why that extra note is placed where it can be placed. We show where we are going, and not tell where we are going. Marcin is reaching the highest level of artistry and skill in those chosen songs; what more is there to require than that? What Marcin is doing will be studied and disected for years to come and the mi-nute-tist little things he is doing now, I gather, will have us all in awe for the next 50 years and beyond, as each nuance is revealed. Marcin is writing the books. And college is cool, too.

Na szczescie wielu bardzo utalentowanych gitarzystow oficjalnie okreslilo Marcina jako talent nie tylko swojej generacji, ale potencjalnie stulecia. Do dzis nikt nie jest w stanie powielic tego co Marcin robi, a to mowi duzo.

He may or may not be a genious, but I certainly am impressed about the dedication and practise put into his instrument and style of playing. His energy while playing is special.

well, if you look at other youtubers, he's not unique at all. and this particular recording at least is relatively conservative compared to many others on youtube - it's mostly flamenco played on steel strings. but it is very difficult guitar playing done very well, and sounds great. I also only just found one guitarist on youtube called alexandr misko, who provides great contrast to how this here is relatively conservative in playing technique. I haven't listened to all his video yet, but ones I like are his misirlou, for sounding really awesome while being comparatively simple, wonderful tonight for clearly showcasing how unorthodox he plays (mostly played as open harmonics with tuners), and africa, which combines both. I don't think I can call either of these two guitarists better than the other (this guy here arguably has better rhythm and more energy), but there is something more impressive about how much of the other guy's playing seems like it has to be his own innovation, whereas this guy here probably has been taught the way he plays for the most part (though I also have a lot of respect for traditional music training and playing styles, it's essential for practically all highly skilled professional musical performances).

But yall just make a ton of.. idk how to decided it but "romanticized" statements. What hes playing is fairly normal flamenco yet he ads percussion to it. Its a very cool technique of his. But also flamenco has percussive elements in it already. He just has different ones.
