Absolute perfection. If any of you want to buy the real deal, I have a Canadian 14L HK 575 stock. It’s my daily driver. I’m kidding about selling it but these Detroits are incredible. I believe that it is the best engine that has ever been built. No EGR, No DEF. It’s just a fantastic engine. I wouldn’t even entertain a $100,000 offer.

48 year veteran long hauler here. Your driving was pretty good, but you better put your phone in a different place. You could get cancer in a place you would not want to tell your mother. Do you split low range much. I love 18 speeds!

Decent driver so much over shifting definitely isn't good on truck transmission's especially when there's no reason to run threw a gearbox just to show off. Only if some of these dudes could see the inside of those transmission's and the damaged that they are causing then ill bet you they'll calm down from hyping out.

they don't care. These are the owners you are looking at. In Jamaica they usually have lower expenses than us americans/canadians - so they can take time off to repair and repeat. Many are also backyard mechanics that service themselves. In Jamaica, there is a cool factor to being a truck driver and there is a style of driving which they love (split every gear regardless of empty or full, Jake brake regardless of being loaded, and feathering the hell out of the gas pedal).Not good for the trucks, and they definitely know this, but the younger crowd doesn't care. I am willing to bet the older drivers probably don't drive like this and likely these younger guys will stop when they get tired of dropping trannies and engine rebuilds. If they mature and drive for longevity and with safety (like not overtaking 5 cars going up hill), then if they are ever fortunate enough to immigrate to Canada or America, I think their experience would serve them really well as owner ops or company drivers
