Can you imagine this is only one market in Philippines, and how many markets all in all entire the Philippines. How many tons of different kinds of fish catch in the ocean everyday. Not including General Santos the tuna capital of the Philippines. If you would witness everyday in Gen. San how many tuna lying on the table of gen. san market. I would say thank you for the blessings from above.

Imagine the smell.... anyone knows why they don't use ice?
@aklanpinoy67178 жыл бұрын
+NewDay867 it's hot, it's the tropic! ice melts fast especially in an open market like this! if you do get them fish on ice then i suppose the people who sells the fish would constantly putting ice onto the fish and the melt would create pools of water all over the fishstand or stall, and create more unnecessary nuisance cleaning, etc. the mentality here for the folks once you bought the fish you go home, you cook them on fire, boiled, grilled or fried, then onto the table to eat served hot (as fast as you can with rice, i'm hungry!). there are some open markets though that utilizes ice to freshen up the fish, and people also would ice them on a drum container on the way up to the market. but once the fish are laid up on tables or stalls, the fish pretty much are in the open, with no ice. and that's the way it's been sold and people pretty much survived the whole thing called life in the philippines. haha! god bless!!

@aklanpinoy67178 жыл бұрын
+Roselio Palma hey, why then you called me "really stupid and special morons?" look above at your comment! look at the quotation marks i put there on the other guy's sentence when i actually just quoted him. i said or answered him "GOOD!" because that is actually really a good thing for the Filipinos so the Filipinos can have more fish to eat. you need to read the sentence right! and also instead of you trying to speak the wrong aklanon about the "anwang" it goes like this. "ro anwang nageogaeog sa eogan-eogan." lenteng yawa ka! LOL!
