This song is used wonderfully at the end of the Mexican blockbuster, Y Tu Mamá También. The scene is an emotional climax just like this song leads to one, a classic song in a classic movie!

This song always makes me think of my wife’s Tio who lost his wife suddenly and she was only in her fifties. My heart aches for him because his voice sounds similar to Marco’s when he sings and since Tia passed two years ago he still hasn’t found the strength or desire to sing again. Would you please react to Dejame Llorar by Ricardo Montaner for Tio Daniel? I sure would appreciate it. Rest In Peace Tia Mary!

I played this song today I sang in front of my dad and his best friend and my dad’s friend is a singer he is a Chicago Singer and he was teaching me this song and he also explained to me how to hear myself and to close my eyes and I practiced with him 4 times now I am used to singing the words I hope to sing it in front of my family and Chicago

That is a weird song in the sense that EVERY mexican knows it but nobody knows why they know it nor who sings it, we just do. I was just so weirded out one time I was watching another KZfaq reacting to this song and I unconsciously started singing. I love him!

A lot of people doesn’t realize that he has 2 separate singing careers. In the 80s he made famous the Grupera music as leading Los bukis at the same time writing successful music for other artists. He made careers then he became a solo artist and started to sing ranchera and classical music. He is awesome and a unique talent.
