My mum, who passed away in july 2021, used to love his music but I could never relate to him or his art. I heard this song when it won Sanremo and didn't think much of it. Fast forward a few weeks, I am having breakfast in a cafe and this song comes on. All of a sudden it hit me like a truck loaded with bricks. It brought all kinds of powerful emotions to my heart, knowing she'd have loved this song and we'd have endlessly argued about it because it was not my taste. Somehow this song today is making feel her presence and I can't stop the tears. Thanks Marco. Mum, wherever you are I hope there is music and light.

Italy never disappoints me, really. And the most exciting thing about the songs that represent Italy in Eurovision is that they are written in Italian unlike other countries that keep sending English songs in Eurovision. And I think that that's the point of Eurovision after all. To get to meet the language, (traditional) music and culture of each European country. This original version is simply amazing. Marco's performance is flawless and you can feel every syllable and every emotion in his words. I'm breathless every time I listen to this. This performance at Eurovision would have landed Italy the victory and no one would have deserved it like Marco. Unfortunately they had to rearrange it to abide by Eurovision rules.

OK, my rudimentary Italian only understood a fraction of the lyrics, but sweet baby Jesus, this song, this singer, this was superb. A vocal rollercoaster. So far Italy and France have won this year’s competition.

Commosso una meraviglia una voce senza rivali entra dentro e sapevo che avrebbe vinto pelle d' oca. Doveva vincere anche all' euro vision. Li' vincono sempre lo stesso tipo di canzoni e musiche .

This song is so pure,natural,without special efects,too much make up,dancers etc.Simple performance but full of MUSIC TALENT and emotions!
