This is the best reaction for their new album so far, gosh I actually got emotional. It's my first time reading the lyrics too and didn't realize how dark they were (would love them to keep the style going for sure though). Love the deep dives, totally share your thoughts about Jay too, just can't wait for the MV now.

in case you didn't know, recently one pact company (armada) released a statement that Kangnam is no longer the CEO of armada and said it was just a "collaboration" between them... he abandoned the group in january so its a few months after the debut even though he called them as his kids... 15:20 so yeah Tag wrote the song "fxx off" with someone in mind and it is about kangnam

i lovee how even tho they're rookies they aren't following trends and their stuff feels so like authentic... i had this feeling with must be nice like i never had a kpop song make me so emotional and the lyrics are soo personal somehow they're just so underated man

I really like all the songs. Fxx Off is my number one - it goes hard and chaotic, which is my style. But luv other two songs too. To be honest, until watching oyu react to them I did not realize how hard these songs hit - and how close to home they hit for me. I listen to a lot of kpop groups but after BTS (songs like Spring Day, Agust D tracks etc.) these are the only songs that hit me hard. Like hell, I like it but also makes me feel sad?... almost anxious for some reason. I feel like these songs are very personal and I really hope and wish for them to get recognitions they deserve for this and their debut album. &

Your reaction videos are always interesting!! Actually I like "Fxx off" the most, but I love "DejaVu" and "Period" too. On KZfaq show to celebrate ONE PACT's comeback, Tag said "DejaVu" was almost the title track. I love this song, too. In the lyrics, "A chain I can't escape. Get me out of this dark place." These lyrics are like a part of my diary. Sometimes I get tired of the endless repetition of my daily life. Life has to go on nonetheless. I really love the last part of the lyrics. "It's a devil's lie that it's easy to give up. Trying and trying? That's not even hard for me. I'll just be in deja vu until my voice reaches you." Maybe they don't have the budget to produce a "DejaVu" MV. Although they're not getting enough support, I hope they don't fall for the devil's lies and keep trying.

The MV was indefinitely delayed due to controversy with Tag's hair that was shown in the teasers. It looks like he has locs or braids, and social media was full of calls for them to not show the MV due to cultural appropriation. No one really knows if or when they will release a MV.

kangnam is no longer the CEO, that's one problem, and jay is in the survival show because this will help ONE PACT gain some popularity, this is how non big4 groups usually gain popularity, there have been instances where going to survival show literally saved the group's career for example nu'est, they sent quite a few members and hwang minhyun became a popular idol from there , other example is victon, han seungwoo and byungchan went to the show and han seungwoo emerged as the leader and member of the group (also minhyun and seungwoo were in the same survival show but dif seasons called Produce 101 and X101 respectively lol). So, yeah it makes sense sending these idols out to survival shows.

The 'fxx off' part is on the chorus, 'kkeojyeo' it is translated to 'go away', but it is a very rude way of saying it, that is why. If they ever perform it on korean shows, it will even be censored or they will have to change the lyrics a bit lol

At first it was confused, but more listened - more liked it. And now I feel like "paradoxx" actually great in its own way. I don’t know why, "fxx off" in mood reminds me of "every other weekend" three days grace, like something about a child who was abandoned, and he says, "fxx you! I really enjoy Fxxk off, it reminds me of Hot Stuff but more metal in a way 😂. I interpreted Deja Vu as them all debuting again, trapped in the cycle of the kpop industry, bad CEO’s and failed boy groups. Abandoned over and over. In fact this seems to be the overarching theme of the whole album… But we &hearts will never abandoned them!

A fellow DEJAVU lover! I ADORE that song🥹 as for the tt track I think they made the right decision. Going by their teasers and the dramatics of the song I think we have a great MV coming and I think it’s a song that will be elevated a lot by it, whereas DEJAVU is a lot more straight forward. I personally love the tt - the dramatics, the switch up in the chorus, everything, BUT it’s a song that needs an MV. It’s giving musical, with moments you can tell will make good cutscenes (the first part of the bridge), and i just can’t wait to see it. It looks like it will be just as dramatic, dark and interesting and “Must be nice” from the teasers so I’m very ready to finally see it. As for BDU it’s still not totally understood which company actually sent him there. I personally fear it was FM and not Armada (FM is still in charge of his solo activities and where Armada barely posted about him being on the show, FM who owns Jay’s personal accounts posted and promoted more than they ever have). I just saw BSU has a world tour coming up until October, so I fear another cb without him.

Unfortunately Jay's preparation for BDU debut overlapped with this album promotion. And preparing for debut album is exhausting since they're under mnet that has more strict management. BDU is also having a world tour 24 cities in Europe and America and Asia too, so I think that's why they came up into a decision to halt his activities with ONE PACT. And I strongly believe that they just made that decision mid preparation cuz Jay was really excited for this album. 😢 Tho didn't really felt his absence much cuz his members never forget about him and always include him with everything they do. 🥺 This album has so much potential and can go even bigger with better promotion. They charted on Bugs, they beat the 24h and first week sales of MOMENT, they even charted no. 6 on Circle Chart, charted on itunes in some countries, and they already surpassed 90k total sales of both MOMENT and PARADOXX. A self produced rookie under a new company, and without proper promotion and lack of contents, I really think they're doing amazingly fine.

The thing with build up is that both companies are sh!tty cause they could've made it work, and it seemed like the 5 of them were working on something together it's been months.. idk what happened! Maybe they had to delay it due to bdu, and then ot4 decided to release a single album so the hiatus wouldnt be too long.

about jay and build up so jay joined build up to promote one pact more and gain more fans, before the show started jay in a fancall reassured us that being on build up and onepact would not cause interruption or over-exertion else he wouldn't have joined the show so jay was sure that he would be able to continue performing with onepact and we even know that he was preparing for this comeback with the boys... so something must have happened i would say more but i dont want to spoil the show to you

@2:44 Not defending ARMADA's lack of promotion but I want to mention the difference in the scenario of ONE PACT, Jay's main company is different; ARMADA manages One Pact while Jay Chang's main management is FM Ent. So, Jay's main company has a strong say on schedule arrangements, career decisions, etc... During the Build Up he represented ONE PACT, and it did bring new fans to One Pact. With regards to the comeback, when Jay went on a fan call a fan asked about this comeback, he said it took a long time for 2 companies to agree, but ultimately because the One Pact comeback and the BDU debut landed the same month, Ultimately, they decided to focus on preparing for the BDU debut, given that it is a debut. Sadly, OnePact had to come back as OT4 but Jay still contributes to OnePact's social platform updates like Subscription Videos, social media videos, live video through calls, etc.

On Arirang Radio guesting of One Pact, before the come back, Jay actually gave a spoiler and accidentally said Dejavu is the title track, then Tag corrected Jay and said that the title track isn't decided yet. I do agree, FXX OFF is strong song too but Dejavu is really interesting.
