I just want to say thank you for having a channel for Samplitude!!! Its very hard to find anything on youtube about this program and ive been using it for almost 20yrs. Please dont stop!!

Im only just getting into Samplitude for mixing down tracks laid down in ableton live. The software is a beast for multitrack audio work. The object based effects has so much creative potential.

If the cursor could be made long covering all horizontal tracks, user can easily spot where to adjust perfectly. Now it is a rough adjustment only. Regards

Excellent explanation, a bit cumbersome but doable. Question, I still have trouble when I copy a wave file track in the timeline and I want to synchronize it with the metronome Click. Did you make a video for this?. Thank you.

I always activate the magnet to beat. then I make sure to cut the object at the start of a mesure before doing copy. (even if the audio I want will miss a part) then I paste it where I want it and retreive the audio if a part is missing. The trick is to always have a begining of a measure as reference to copy and past, then it will always follow the time / click

Hi Marco!.. (I know this is off topic but)... how can I record through plugin.. as input? For exmple: I want to record a vocal, but i have no outboard gear, like preamps, comoressor etc.... But i have the plugins... I wil like to print a bit of some of that process while recording.. is it possible to do so in Pro X7 or later?

How did you get the visualization meter to dock side by side with the transport controls?

it's like that by default if you load the power user workspace. other than this you can drag things around and place them where ever you want ;)

Can you apply the time markers on multitracks and move all of them together?

There can be only one tempo map track and it will control all the tracks speed. You can't have one track to a tempo and another track on a different one. Althought if you change the tempo you can decide if the audio is modified or not...

@@MarcoPrimeau No. That's not what I am talking about. My question is if you can apply the time warp markers to all tracks and move them (all together) as you do with a single track. I don't want to apply a tempo map track.

@@mosaiques23 Sorry about that. The answer is yes, group the tracks, cut to the same start and same end then go to the object editor (with the tracks selected) then change speed. I'll check to do a video about that.. thanks !

I think what you explained is the old fashion way that always worked with Sam but it would be nice to do it with markers and if I remember correctly, you can apply the stretching markers to all the selected tracks but they do not move all together. Looking forward to see the video.
