MARCOS is the special forces unit of the Indian Navy that is responsible for conducting special operations. MARCOS was founded in February 1987. MARCOS are capable of operating in all types of environments; at sea, in the air, and on land. In this video, we have covered the selection and training of Marcos and the Badges Earned by Commandos.

My father served in 75th Armoured Regiment of Indian Army(1968-1999) and he fought war in 1971, Punjab insurgency and Kargil war. Proud of him and the entire Indian defence forces. My father's regiment has a unique distinction of being the only unit of any Army in the world to be raised on enemy soil (captured Pakistani Territory in Sakna, Sindh 1971 war; which is 26 kilometres inside Pakistan).

We both left home at 18, You cleared JEE I got recommended. You got IIIT. I got My training academy. You persuaded your degree, had the toughest training. Your day started at 7 and ended at 5, Mine started at 3 till 9 and Some nights also included You had your convocation ceremony I had my POP Best company took you and Best package was awarded, I was ordered to join my paltan You got a job, I got a way of life. Every eve you got to see your family just wished got to see my parents soon. You celebrated festivals with lights and music I celebrated with my comrade in bunkers. We both married, Your wife got to see you everyday My wife just wished I was Alive. You were sent to business trips, I was sent on borders. We both returned, Both wives couldn't control their tears, You wiped her but, I couldn'.. You hugged her but, I couldn't Because I was lying in the coffin, Coffin wrapped with tricolour. My way of life ended... Your continued We both left home at 18

If you want to become commission officer then you should clear UPSC exam. Because for officer entry exam will be conducted by UPSC.

@2k videos done during training they give physical & mental torture that's why lifetime they suffer from side effects. My husband was a commando he often complains about body pains & also sometimes he's is mentally unstable.

Marcos always remembered for their operations during 26/11 But people fogets their first mission In Sri Lanka of securing Jafna port from the rebels of LTTE in 1987 They secured the entire Jafna port in just half and hour without a single casualty. That's what we call a successful operation Jai hind

Marcos were to rescue people in 26/11... It was NSG who did the operation and killed the terriosts.

Marcos only handle the situation and rescue hostages until NSG don't arrive. Then they handover whole situation to NSG then Op. Black tornado was completed by NSG alone.

Salute to these real heroes. They undergo such a difficult and stringent training, go for so many missions in which they fight fearlessly, hide their identity, unable to share their achievement's news with their families and lastly they have the courage to even die for their country, therefore, they are known as India's most lethal special force I can't even imagine how tough their training might be and I got some idea about it after seeing this video. Really, they are the unknown warriors. They deserve a grand salute and respect from us Jai hind 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳

Few the fearless is the public pr motto. Not the internal one . Marcos doesnt have a selection course. Its a rejection course. The course is designed to make cadets break down and leave. Those who clear the course are SELECTED .
