Hello, I have 5 Marcotting Cherry branches now 4 Bing and 1 Rainer. It has now been 2 weeks and another 6 weeks before I can unwrap to see the new roots. My question is once a new root takes place of the branches, can I plant it in the garden right away or shall I replant it in a big container for a year and then replant them in the garden? Please advice.

What would be the life span of these marcotted branches ?

I have a 6meter mango tree in my back yard that is overhanging alot onto the road, so many people steal our mangos..... I would like to take the largest branch that is hanging over the road and create a new tree to put on the other side of the land.... is this a good idea with a larger banch or is it better to use more medium beanches?... Also the branch I am thinking feels like it would be too big for a pot.... should I choose smaller banches or is it ok to put a larger branch in the gound (the branch is about 2.5 to 3 meters)
