Can someone explain how the gold price works? eg the miners say the current price is about $2800 per ounce thats awesome BUT approximately what price do they get offered when taking it in for sale. How much less than 2800 do they actually get :) Any help appreciated.

If 2800 is spot price they’ll probably get that or more as people pay a premium on spot price for nice nuggets.
