Just curious..... I believe you tested and dive with it. Does it leak? Tot of trying to change the battery by myself too.

So not a qualified technician approved by Mares Service Dept. Do not handle or touch batteries, do not touch any part of the body with metal objects. Static discharge can/will harm the electronics. A statics mat and wrist lanyard is used to prevent a discharge into the computer.

Stavo Piqqoet. Rubbish. Touching metal with another metal part won’t necessarily cause static discharge. What you’re saying implies you can’t put this watch down on a metal bench, or touch your car with it. Changing the battery is not exposing the user to the electronics. Not all electronics are susceptible to static discharge anyway
