It's “unique”, in today's mainstream music, but there are a lot of new artists out there today I consider in the new-wave genre. (yeah, they call it synth-pop, darkwave, etc., blah blah. 100 thing's but to me, it's the new wave.) This happened in the ’80s too. No one knew who The Cure, Depeche Mode, and New Order when I listened in the early ’80s. Then boom, one guy in corporate decided to make it mainstream. It's great music. I hope it gets more exposure again. A lot of new artists out there. It is maybe making a comeback. I hope so. Call it the new “New Wave!”

I'm 43. Grew up on the 1st wave. Just discovered you via this. Really like this song! The song structure is very interesting and unique. The atmosphere of the song feels so good when I hear it. All of Mareux's music is so beautifully haunting ..and the best concert experience ever- I designed my own "Mareux" lettering on a shirt & I was lucky enough to see him , i took a photo of another fan with him, and then I got a photo and i asked him if he would sign the shirt i designed..it was so cool..he's so chill & i was having a geek out moment..lol, but really, that music has gotten me thru some hard stuff. I was so happy to get that opportunity and to thank him for his music. Music is so amazing on so many levels ..thank you , Mareux! Can't wait to hear more amd more awesome music .
