For years I’ve been obsessing with tracking and finding this cat. It’s not a Jaguar or an Ocelot but the lesser-known Margay (Tigrillo/Caucel en español). Walking home from work I stopped to film a Collared Forest-Falcon when I noticed that the cat had been watching me the entire time! Unfortunately, I didn't have a tripod but hopefully, you get a feel of the moment.

It is wonderful to be able to observe these cats in nature and with that serenity and peace, he knows that he was not in danger from being there, the camouflage is also incredible, hidden vigilant until the moment you discovered that he was looking at you for a long time. very good report and how lucky you were!

@@TenToesSurf Of course! I see prints from some big cats around our farm but I have yet to see one in real life. Rumor is there is a jaguar and neighbors claim to have seen it but I haven't and really want to. I had some people coming to visit in March who were bringing me a trail camera but they had to cancel and I'm still waiting for the camera as well as some other important stuff they were going to bring.
