Great day at the Kamp today! Some of the snakeneck turtles are graduating up to the front yard pond and stream and Marge, our stinking cute snapping turtle, tempts fate by going face to face, nose ot nose with Lucifer, my dwarf caiman!

Marge is _SUCH_ a character! She's adorable. I love her "pay attention to me, ya big scale-less beastie!" So stubborn & focused on getting to you. I wonder if she likes you more than just for food? She might just enjoy being around you. Snappers seem to have some brains going on in there. She certainly feels safe around, that's for sure. And I love the interaction between her & Lucifer--so chill with each other.

Is it just me or has Marge had a massive growth spurt? Seeing Marge and Louie's friendship or Louie's tolerance towards Marge's no f's given attitude is cool!!!

Marge is very young(and since she's a female) she'll get slightly wider and bigger to "accommodate" the size of eggs(if she ever decides to mate) I love Damme Marge as much as I love Queen Lego(she's a fan favorite too)and she eats,beats the other turtles to the food about 95% of the time despite what trauma she went in her "deformed" shell development. She love her just the same 😍😥

I wonder what Louis thought when Marge showed up one day ? Though Kenan did not see it, Marge climbed the fence to relocate from from the smooth front enclosure to his Dwarf Caiman (Louis') enclosure !

What a Great Video!!! Marge and Lucifer have developed such a good relationship to both of you and are tolerant of each other and the side neck turtles remembered their hiding places . Paulgimatamata is so beautiful and I can't wait to watch him vacuum up fish ! And the biggest of the snake necks seem to love their new ponds. I LOVE how they explore around corners with those necks !

Oh my!!! I was afraid we would lose Marge! Matt, great shots of Lucifer, he posed well today. The turtles are beautiful. Your front pond is just so relaxing to listen to, I think I could nap there all the time. Of course Matt makes all the shots look great but, I could see the difference.

Hi Kenan Who knew that Marge, and a Louis were friends. No problem when she climbed down, so close to his head, and no problem. They get along fine. That new camera is very nice. Very clear picture. I am glad that you found snake neck that were large enough to go into the big pond. Marge still always wants attention. Glsd that you checked to see if that door was locked. That Paul Giamata has perfect camouflage. Another wonderful day at Kamp Kenan. It is so nice to see Matt take such csre, and interest about all of your reptiles. Quite entertaining - thanks a lot! BTW when I saw how acquainted Marge & Lucifer now are, I remembered an old wildlife docu by Prof. B. Grzimek, a very famous German zoologist and former director of the Frankfurt zoo. He filmed a very unexpected group of animals at the Zambezi river. They had formed a kinda 'elected affinity' between a water buffalo, a sizeable Nile crocodile and a heron; always standing tightly together in one particular spot on the river's edge. Then going away for each's personal business and, after that, join together at that place. The crocodile never made an attempt to eat the other two guys, but, when it had to 'go to work', probably might have done so with others of their kind. The zoologist couldn't explain that behaviour in a bioloical way, but, obviously, felt forced to admit that it exists.

Hey Matt, I agree that camera is awesome. I asked Kenan years ago to get better video of the eyes of the animals. I think we’ll have better luck with this camera. Some of those animals have the most beautiful eyes. That snake necks yellow eyes were awesome.

When does "Winter" happen for you, Kenan? We have a place on Marco that we come down to for a couple weeks in early November, and it's usually blazing hot - 80s and 90s. I plan on moving about halfway down between you and me (central Tennessee) with the hope of getting a couple of Aldabra tortoises primarily due to you and this channel. I've already reached out to Sam, but I'm still a couple years away from making the move.

Marge is absolutely the best... turtle... slinks the king of the camp makes Marge the queen... and ofcourse the big tortoises... I love them so much. I must say i dont like crocodiles but Louis is so stinking cute. I am starting to appreciate him. Pity you dont have a girlfriend for him... i hope he doesnt think Marge is his girl... imagion the head of a Cayman and the shell of a turtle... or th head of Marge on a crocodile body... don't know what would be the worst??? Nice new camera. What is it? ❤❤❤

The Twist Necks only lay one egg, and usually just drop it on the ground, so the odds of you getting one in there are very slim. You should just send me your female for my male, and see if I can get an egg in my controlled environment. lol

I don't know how often you look at the comments.... but there's been a reported alligator sighting on Lake Erie in Pennsylvania.... do you know anyone up north that could potentially do a rescue?
