The thing I truly love about this?!!The diversity of the Barbies now!!All races and sexes now!Back in the day and even as a child in the 60’s?Made zero sense to me why only white Barbies!It was just odd to me.The world was made up of people of all colors,races,sexes,cultures.And all we had back than were white Barbies.Thank goodness that has changed.

I’m surprised people are acting surprised by the diversity of Barbie’s. In the 90s I got the black Barbie Christie as a Christmas gift. I wanted her because she was wearing green which was my favorite color. Barbie was in pink and Teresa in blue. It was the rock and roll Barbie’s.. anyone remember those? Anyway Barbie has had diverse dolls for a long time now! ❤

Well at least they got Margot’s square jawline right. The og Barbie was much more oval shaped as was Sharon Tate who she played in “Once upon a time in Hollywood”… Margot didn’t look like her but Sharon did a movie called “Dont Make Waves” where she played an actress called “Malibu”… the Mattel company didn’t confirm nor deny the “Malibu Barbie” was inspired by Sharon but if you look at them side by side they are.
