Banning is not a solution. International brands bring foreign investment, expertise, and ideas to the country. If you block it, then you will become another North Korea. Your local products need to bring innovation and excel in quality to compete with them. Market forces will then determine only the best products.

One thing I want to mention is that it will take time for smaller companies to take place of Coke and Pepsi. Also Coke and Pepsi are in the business for a long time and trusted with their quality and delivery dates. Unke level pe aaney main time lagayega, do din main ye nahi honeyka. Big restaurants won't start trusting smaller companies until they gain some trust and show good business ethics which are pretty absent in Pakistani culture.
