Gate reduces the time of travel (basically to zero), teleport puts you at the place you want to be (no travel time involved)

Also "Blusfia Empire" was translated to "Bluesphere Empire" in some things... All that makes me do is think about that Blue Sphere special stage from the Sonic the Hedgehog series....

I think teleport just means you are powerful enough to move your own body over any distance in a single instance while gate is just space manipulation. He literally connects the two points in space

put it simply. when using teleport you move yourself. and when using gate you make the distance between two places zero. so rather then moving yourself. you are bending space.
