Ειναι μεγαλοφυης ο τροπος που ο μαεστρος εχτισε τη μελωδεια με τις φωνες αυτων των ημιθεων της οπερας. Ισως ειναι η πιο σωστη τοποθετηση της φωνης της Καλλας μεσα στη μουσικοτητα του εργου απο ολες τις αλλες ερμηνειες της ως Τοσκα. Μακαρι ο ηχος να ηταν αναλογος του αριστουργηματος που μας παρουσιαζετε.Μπραβο σε ολους ισως η σπουδαιοτερη Τοσκα.❤❤❤❤

I believe Callas once said, please correct me if I am wrong, but, I believe she once said she did not always approve of applause because it interrupted the action. Regardless of how she might have felt, regarding the outpouring of love and appreciation on her entrance at 12:00 , I myself find it utterly gratifying. My heart simultaneously pours out love and admiration for this artist: Goddess of the Musical Theatre. (I believe I doth wax...ah.... does that all sound a little too much?) Well, it's true.

I saw Corelli in Tosca (and Fanciulla and Chenier) with Tebaldi. His eternal "Vittoria" melted me. I couldn't move. E lecuvan le Stelle was like an orgasmic tightrope. I have the recording of the Tosca I saw in Pasadena. Got his autograph too. Handsome as his voice!
