Because she needed a higher seat :) Usually the height of chairs which are made exactly for piano players is adjustable, but since here she used simple chairs, she took another one to get a higher seat in order to make playing more comfortable.

You’re playing is superb. The other great thing, is that you seem to understand singing. Playing the piano and playing beautifully is one thing. However, playing with a singer, which seems to be what you’re intending to have happen, is totally different. I’ve had pianist that breathe with the singer when they accompany. They are the best, just as you are. Thank you for your contributions.
