Such a helpful video, I'm awful at knowing the differences and go thrifting a lot, so I'm always nervous to pick up *esluxy* , jackets, so many others things - ugh! You are always so knowledgeable about these luxury brands. You can definitely notice the high quality stitching.

@@CkristianMuhammad Yes, and a big brand like Dior would have to take a different approach and insist on certified raw materials and obtain the raw materials from other sources and, by the way, have them processed by proper companies in Italy. This would make production slightly more expensive and the profit margin initially slightly lower, but in the long term it would possibly lead to higher profits and more exclusivity. I like the Dior brand.

1st, all the fashion houses are just as bad as each other at this point, 2nd Maria probably filmed this before the report came out and 3rd your just a keyboard warrior that gets triggered by everything. Maybe it’s escapism for some of us that enjoy Maria’s channel.

Hi, I saw your comment yesterday & the replies to you. I didn't comment because I'm really not one who enjoys the back & forth, silly arguing with others on the internet. But I saw today's upload from Maria & you guessed it.. there's more Dior promotion happening. So I came back to tell you that you're not a keyboard warrior. You asked a valid question. Unfortunately, there will always be those who justify or distance themselves from the bad doings of others, while supporting those same people. Those who are quiet in the face of injustice, are actually supporting it. "Minding your own business" is often the coward's choice in instances like this. You hit the nail on the head. Most "luxury influencers" just don't give a shit. Whether purchasing or just showing the bags on your social media, it's still support for an ultimately unethical practice. It doesn't matter whether it was filmed before the news broke, it was still uploaded & is earning revenue. But hey, she's not guilty of the unethical practice herself, right? This is her income, right? We just enjoy the pretty designs because our lives are so hard.. poor us! We need escapism 😂 It doesn't matter that human rights were violated, right? Its absolutely normal to have empathy & feel anger about this news. Those who don't feel much or say "well, we always knew luxury brands were not ethical" are not actually the rational ones in this situation & are in reality just making themselves seem like worse of a human being. The fact that there is now actual evidence of the unethical practices, should just solidify the decision to not support the injustice against others. Unfortunately, people will hardly mention injustices (nevermind take a stand against it), when they are not the ones who are experiencing said injustice. I'm sorry for the long ass rant & I'm not jealous or a keyboard warrior. I hardly ever comment. But these issues are things we should all be passionate about, because we are all connected. And somewhere down the line, the injustice against any group will trickle down in some way or be used against another group some day & will continue to prevent us from achieving anything close to a fair & prosperous society for more & more people. I'm fully expecting insults of some kind to be thrown my way for this comment 😂😂 But it's nowhere near the realm of what I'm sure those factory workers had to endure to earn a living. Like you I usually don’t reply to many comments, I guess I was triggered😂 I agree with everything you have said and I hope that the people involved will get the justice that they deserve. Dior would have known that the contract that they had with the third party wasn’t going to be done ethically with how much they were charging for each bag and turned a blind eye to what was happening at this facility. They are no better than Shein or Temo. I hope Maria does address the issue in a video soon, I think you would like Erica from Erica’s girly world she mostly posts on Instagram now and is really honest about what companies do and calls them out, anyway hope you have a great day.
