Nodes are EARNED, either through singing incorrectly, drugs, {Whitney} or, over use, {Mariah} The reason she does NOT go into surgery, to have these removed, is because it could also remove her brilliant, "whistle tone" of which, is her signature. Smart move. Still I'm astonished, and sad, this "voice" only lasted from '90 to '96.

Desmond Crawford mariah songs are much harder due to the fact they have very complex melsimas and runs while constantly having to change keys and registers from chest to head, its even harder for mariah as she goes to her “ whisper” register. youd need to have atleast a 4 octave vocal range to perfectly execute a mariah carey song.

Yes indeed its a trick and a technique so that the note that youre going to hear isnt bad and ear shattering. Becoz that note is big she needs to distant her /mouth from the mic in making that particular note.

Hitting a high note loud isn't the challenge, having the ability to control it is. Most can hit high notes loud (yell it), but unable to control the dynamics of it. Most singers take their head away from the mic to smooth out imperfections.

Lots of Pitch Changes, Breathes and Vibratos. Vibratos are difficult to sustain with Coloratura Sopranos. Its naturally not designed for them.

Why does people speak when they know nothing?? Mariah vocal decline on 1996 was caused because of her overuse of her voice. Mariah had vocal nodules since she was a child and consistently singing extremely hard songs full of high notes like Mariah always does damaged her voice.

Back in the 90s, Record Labels had Vocal Acrobats like Mariah Carey and Tevin Campbell sing and perform at extremely high notes and pitches.
