lol everybody talks about how Mariah’s voice ‘declined’ in 1997 but the gag is that the attempts from the Butterfly tour are better than any ones from Music Box here by far…

Now you know yourself that the reasons she didn’t attempt the usual notes was because it was the final song of the setlist in the Music Box Tour while she was sick. In the clips from 1998, she could barely sing any of those attempts without sounding awful. Those attempts don’t sound good at all, and especially given that she lipped songs prior to singing VOL, and wasn’t sick... the ones from MBT are still better because it still sounds healthy (good).

In 1996 London was much better than Paris/Rotterdam😊 Rotterdam was very flat and Paris was too tense. London wasn’t exactly on pitch but it was better than the other two :D

One thing I noticed is that some whistles in the 90s sound polyphonic. At least the first whistles from the 90s era. And that's the wonderful plus of this classic whistle from this epic song.

Suprised TEOM actually attempted the Eb5 i knew about montreal but calgary actually went for the whole thing props to her. 1993/1999 and 06 were by far the worst years for vision of love While 1990/1995/1996/1991/2003 were the best. I felt like she couldve done the Eb5 in most charm dates with the key being lowrred by 2 steps that Eb5 is actually quite easy.

3. At first she sang in the studio key, in 93 she lowered a semitone and in 2000 she lowered a semitone again.
