The acoustic of the place clearly was great because makes her sound like the studio version and the studio version is clearly pure and unedited. Probably that must be the reason some people might think this performance was liped. It's clearly not! That's what happened when you have a true talent!! Mariah is the greatest!! Love her

People forget that Mariah at her prime was untouchable. No body on the freaking earth could beat her. She was beyond perfection that’s why people always thought she was just a studio singer but she proved them all wrong. It’s just unbelievable the talent God gave her. Not wonder why she became the best female seller artist, she also wrote her own songs, not body can’t take that away. Very happy for her she made her dream come true.

Actually she is not and never will be. Her songs do not match Mariah‘s. Ariana can’t surprise the audience at a award show like Mariah did it. Ariana is never able to surpass her. Just one word for this performance- AMAZING!!! Wow,Mariah really was at the top of her game around this "My all" era. She looked absolutely gorgeous,she sounded stunning vocally. Noooobody comes close to Mariah. Still to this day she is at the top of her game, I can't think of anyone that even comes close in regards to her sound, her song writing abilities and THAT voice!! She was just a born star 🌟 I Still love her and her music, anyone who got to see her Fantasy tour, in my opinion witnessed a living legend! 😘 we LOVE you MC ❤

Mariah Carey is a great singer who made my youth shine.When I was in love with him, and when he became my lover, I always listened to Mariah Carey's songs with him and went to hope, and I was always in love with Mariah Carey's singing voice. Now that I'm an adult, no matter how long time passes, Mariah Carey gives me a light in my life.Everything is my best memory.

the TONE of how she sings "there" at 1:23 is one of the things that just MAKES her. Sure, lots of people can sing this song, but you cant replicate TONE. The way is just ejects out, and rings, so resonant, and has that girly yet forceful tone to it, as if her voice is breaking but just nails is so strongly at the same time.

I've always loved this song since I was young, love how Brenda sings it Mariah actually sounds alot like her singing parts. I'm not usually a fan when someone covers another singer bit this was done well ♥️
