This concept is from the adventures of Mimi tour. On the newer version she added that subtle “Honey,” melody right before the intro.

The Honey melody is there if you listen carefully. This version is very similar to TAOM, but there are differences

How do u do those record scratch SFX? I can never get them right 😭

A LOT of hard work! 😖 I had to wade through literally hundreds of samples to find ones that sound okay and then I have to mess with them A BUNCH to get them sounding even half decent! To be honest, I still don’t think they sound that good, but they get the job done. That and the Run DMC sample! 🤦♂️ OMG! For the amount of effort it takes to get this sound I’m surprised Mimi didn’t make this the official version and just does it live 😂

@@proceedwithcaution5153 the Run DMC sample sounds perfect!! I made my own ILT live arrangement a few months ago and just couldn't get the scratches quite right like urs so I gave up on them and just posted it w/o the scratches ugh! I like her live arrangement for this song better than the album version tbh, she needs to release an official studio version for this.
