People just don't understand what it is like to struggle from a mental health problem/s. It's an inner battle wherein you would think that you're alone. Other people around you can only say so much.

Fabeee Olmos Yeah bullshit Mariah is irrelevant these days I don't buy her bipolar bullshit - 17 yrs without meds wow how did she get this shit by catching like the fuckin flu or a cold I've got diagnosed with bipolar affective disorder 14 months back very serious & was immediately put on tegretol 200mg I can't miss a single dose if I do I can easily loose control & flip out she's an attention seeking drama queen wanting public sympathy with a new album out soon what better way 2 promote it given the fact 2014's release was absolute fuckin garbage capecch 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

As a sufferer myself. I'm very pleased someone of her stature has come out. Such a sad world that people have to hide this. The ones who ditch out judgment. Stigma and hate are the ones with the problems. Certainly not me or her.

Brian Dash I'm a 47 year old woman who has bipolar illness also, and I'm so glad she's doing this, takes a LOT of courage!!!! So many judgemental people out there who don't know what they are saying, isn't it supposed to be a bible verse, judge not unless ye be judged, something like that! Mariah has always had a lot of class, way more than a lot of other singers and bands out there and she always will!!!
@veronicaatkins28064 жыл бұрын
Exactly me too

Brian Dash We do have to learn to take accountability for our behaviors still; this diagnosis isn’t an instant justification as that mentality contributes to the stigma. Often times we can be horrible, horrible people to deal with; I’ve caused drama where it wasn’t necessary, sometimes for my own enjoyment. I’ve been petty, even nasty and I’ve become aggressively confrontational, even physical over unfounded perceptions about people having it out for me. We need to be willing to meet halfway; sure it would do the public some good to research our illness but we absolutely do need to check ourselves whenever we feel that inner diva or rage-beast about to come out

Don't think this will come as a great surprise to many but it's brave nonetheless. I find it incredibly sad though that she chose to ignore it in fear of jeopardizing her career but I get it because it was very different 20 years speaking out about anything to do with mental health. It's such a painful, frightening and traumatic condition I don't know how she coped unmediated for all of those years but it's a testament to her strength she could of saved herself from so much. I hope anyone suffering in silence can see that amid all the chaos that has consumed her life

I saw the clips (like that one with the mic and the one with the ice cream) and I was wondering : "what's the big deal?" There was nothing erratic about it. Whitney did so much worse on a daily basis. Why pick on Mariah? Maybe because she is so perfect, people need to knock her down.
