This material is biased and untrue. Mottola gave the song to Jennifer, the song wasn't Mariah's, he could give it to whoever he wanted. This story of stealing voices doesn't exist either, they were paid to do backing vocals. If all this really were true, why didn't they file lawsuits? They didn't open it because they are rumors, lies about everything. It's been 20 years that Mariah and her fans have been whining about this, they haven't evolved... Whoever made this article hates Jlo, it's clear.

After watching this and being from south Texas… I remember it was a big thing of auditions all over the state and Selena’s dad had picked out an actual Texan/Mexican actress who sang similar to Selena, and it never it being announced on the local entertainment news… and then all of a sudden he changed his mind and JLo was picked… and it caused outrage among Selena fans who wanted a Mexican American actress but instead picked a Puerto Rican for the role. … seems like she had a HUGE influence and the right people who have helped her get her way to make it big!

She started with copying Selena Quintanilla Perez immediately after her role playing her cause suddenly she realised the vacuum that had been left, but her personality and talent was never enough. That's why she had such a PR image thing about her ass, she thought that's all that made Selena the adored person and performer she is. JLO plays dress up wearing the costumes of talented women and then wonders why said women or the industry don't appreciate it. Not to mention her showing up at her childhood home expecting a shocked and excited poor family to be like ''omg JLO used to live here?!'' but they too literally did not know her.
