The girl that sang Vision Of Love is prime example of what you should do when you sing a song by Mariah. Use what's in your skillset to pay homage to the song but the parts that you can't do, make it your own and own it.

No. 🤔 Not on the video. 1 Elha Nympha sang Emotions + whistled! She won Voice akids Philippines. 2 Sabrina Millare. 3 - 10 I list 7 more Filipina girls who sing + whistle in other posts. They are at Mariah's door. Elaine Duran, Katrina Velarde slay + whistle. They are princesses compared to the next one. Morissette Amon is up there: Mariah's writer-producer Trevor Lawrence from her 1990 album came to sign her.

not a freaking chance my dear , what you heard was a repetition of what Mariah used to do ! Mariah now might not be at her prime anymore but when she was back in the 90s nobody could touch her ! Her tone really suited the song Hero well despite the fact that most mariah songs don't suit most singers. She was great. Mariah said it was one of her easier songs to sing in her work though, so much so that she would add the DayDreamriah Tokyo Dome G5s to add more to it.

uslolgunter He meant that no one can release vocals on Mariah's level, not that they have to copy Mariah to do justice to the songs, and he's right, it's a very bad choice singing Mariah's songs, they're too hard, and talents like Christina Marie to do so much justice to such song as Vision Of Love (but still nowhere near Mariah's level) are very rare

They all have good voices. Mariah Carey songs are REALLY hard to sing. Vision Of Love and Hero singers though, are WOW! Of course nobody compares to Mariah, but they were really good.

"Without you" is not a Mariah Carey song. Is a cover of 1970s song written and released by the british band Badfinger. Harry Nilsson heard it, made some changes added an orchesta and made it huge success in the US.

Don't get me wrong but listening to these covers someone can easily realise how unique and powerful Mariah's voice is! Nobody can sing her songs like herself! Period! And before you say she can't sing anymore or she lost her voice and such things, I dare you to listen to her live performances of the exact same songs back in the 90's!
