@@datedylan2187 If you truly respect Whitney, you would know she regarded Mariah highly, and probably wouldn't want people to disrespect any of them by bringing the other one up. They also have very different voices and singing styles all together so the comparison falls flat, because Mariah can't be Whitney, and Whitney can't be Mariah.

@@echobonx4118Why do they say it's lip sync? Why does it sound like the studio version? She is MARIAH CAREY, not just any singer, she can achieve that and more. It seems like they want Mariah to completely change the tone and melody so they can believe it's live.

@@agentsquish There is a change to the quality of her voice exactly at 2:54. I guess it could be the sound engineer that switches something with the levels - but it could obviously also be that it is when the lipped part starts. Who knows? She's that good, so everyone can only speculate.

When everyone counted her out, years of no number 1 hits, a lot of harsh words has been said, then suddenly she release the Emancipation of Mimi and this song of the decade. She's just too powerful..

That 3:22 vocal was amazing too bad the together end note was lipped. But this is def a great version I still prefer her 2006 adventures of mimi where she also changes that same note on the last “we belong together” and I love her expression on opera.

Hello dear...i listened very carefully... actually there is obviously some vocals in background from the real audio... now the thing is...the only doubt place is from 3:25 before it... there is no lipsycing... now even from that time i mention till the end... i am not sure...really...and no one can be sure up to 100 percent..that it is lipsycing or not...only mariah carey would tell us byherself...but another thing you would keep in mind...she is level of the singer that she can really sing that high Pitch at live too cause back in 90s people used to sing on real tunes mostly ...not like in this era where auto tunes are very common... @@gingerkyriakos6968
