It's like culture shock to strangers,about motor cycle in indonesia,not like in america or europe or even with other country in asia.not all indonesian have car,but they have their own house,garden field,an empty land,even some villagers have a mountain..it's surprisingly they rich without showing to others

I'm with you on this! Traffic in Indonesia is just crazyyyy - way more motorbikes honking from different directions. But it makes sense - it's a practical way to get around. And yeah, I was surprised by how many people had their own land and houses, even in the more rural areas. They live humbly and not try to show off their wealth.

As a student, sometimes you want to practice your English by preparing a list of questions you wanna ask beforehand (if you notice those kids brought a note with them), then go to a place where tourists mostly come. I did the same too when I was their age. But it's their own initiative, tiada yang suruh.

Easiest way to find meal: just ask people nearby ,where to find: 1. NASI UDUK (rice cooked in coconut milk) 2. BUBUR AYAM (chicken porridge) these 2 street food are available almost anywhere in Jakarta

Hey sis, Jakarta has many tourist attractions that must be visited. If you like walking and hanging out in crowds, it is recommended that you come to the HI Jakarta roundabout at night.There is a good place to hang out playing in the middle of Jakarta city center, the location is not far from Sudirman station, If you use transportation such as the busway, you can stop directly at the HI roundabout stop, located in front of the Indonesia Hotel

by the commuterline train you can get to other city like bogor city, on bogor you could visit botanical garden and the palace of the president of indonesia, and also you can get puncak pass, there was a mosque on mountain, very relaxing and calm vibes, bogor city is lot more cooler than jakarta, because bogor was on high land.

Hi sister, idk if you're still there but you should definitely check out Kebun Raya Bogor (Bogor Botanical Garden) in Bogor. You can go there by that train and it's not too far from the Bogor Train Station. It's a really cool place with tons of trees and people and history. I think you would love it

Whenever you want to cross the roads in indonesia, just raise ur hand walk slowly..we called it the MAGIC HAND in asia 🤣 those vehicles will slow down and give u the way. In Dubai we use nol card for public transport, very cheap. Occasionally police do asses the cards.once they find out that you dont have balance they do arrest you and charge u 200 AED
