Wonderful! I had been tatting since 1962(I am 78 now). Just yesterday I finished a handkerchief lace using a shuttle. When I was looking for some new designs I came across this tatting using a needle. So easy especially when one's hands are not so steady. Thanks for the clear instructions 😊

Love this vid! You explained and showed how to do so well and it really helped me more than any of the other vids I have seen for beginners like myself. I have Latino friends that I work with who have become very dear to me and they also will say, "Oops, but it's OK" and move on when showing me something so that made me love you all the more! LOL My grandmother tatted and she showed me when I was so young that I couldn't remember, so this tutorial meant a lot to me for that especially.

Thank you. My work never looks likes but with practice I'm hoping it will get better I had fun with the snowflake. I'm glad I went thru all I did with the doily because now the clusters don't intimidate me. Thank-you for that Lydia. Iv'e seen very shiny yarn used that looks like silk or rayon, but when I tried a rayon it just kept snapping. I'd like to use a shiny thread. Have been practicing with a thin crochet cotton and loving it.

Hi Maria, awesome tutorial, I am inspired to try! I also like aunt lydia's cotton 10. Can you also tell what size of needle you use for it? Thanks and my best to you. Ann

Your fingers are our of view. I can't see how you are positioning the thread on the needle.
