I was surprised by the ammo amount. By the end, even after constantly shooting, it still had a third of its ammo. Unless the engineer was constantly re-stocking his ammo, this seems pretty stronk

@@AB-ln2py the Dreaquake train is only scary to infantry though, this thing looks scary to everything. Not to mention, the closer you get to it, the more repeater shots are gonna hit you.

I believe they have stated there's no plans for that, but idr where I heard that. There's some good mods that do the job just fine but ofc id rather have an official change. It really muddles his character

If I had to guess, the Khorn dlc will be with either Norsca, or Ogres. If one is Norsca the change could come with a rework. But unless Thrones of Decay does really well,(enough for them to feel good about doing a trifecta again), we might have to sacrifice one of the bois :'c

Funnily enough that's actually very tabletop accurate. The best way to beat a steam tank on the tabletop is to bog it down with chaff. Because it just Struggled chewing though them.

I think it was frostbitten, slowed, and getting beat down by Throgg most of the battle. you'd have to point out some time stamps where it tries to push through infantry and fails to do so without being frostbitten. I'm pretty sure the new Steam Tank doesnt have much issue pushing through standard foot troops

Honestly naval battles are pretty tedious

It’s crazy because there is so much potential there, Warhammer: Dreadfleet was a naval fantasy game, all the ships you see on the map are actual units for that tabletop.

Maybe they've put a lot of weight into the lower departments of the ship to give it a lower center point of mass, making it less prone to tip over. But either way, it's meant to look a bit silly, first and foremost.

iirc the Welfs did have some sort of bonus to fighting in forests originally, but I think they removed it with the rework because it was confusing and didn't really do anything.

@@kapitankapital6580 it was called the woodsman trait. And is all it done was give you no moving penalties in Forrest’s, if my memory serves right it was only ok the wildwood rangers.

@@leonardbrazil5497 was it? I thought it was like "forest spirits" or smth. I can't remember what woodsman did before the update where it allowed you to move through trees, so maybe you're right.

@@kapitankapital6580 Forrest spirits was given to like dryads,tree kin and tree men it gave them a 20% physical resistance but I think that got nerfed to like 10% when game 3 came out.

Doesn't make much sense lore wise. The land ships are commissioned by marienburg, the independent merchant Lords city, and made by basically a group of breakaway Nuln Engineers for money to counter the Empire's use of steam tanks in defence of the city. Empire engineers refused to work on them so they are very crude and unstable and definitely not befitting of empire engineers & masters.

The fact that such a bizzare concept works, proofs that whoever was the crazy bastard at Nuln that invented it was *cooking*

@@draconomega This particular machine wasn't invented by some crazy bastard at Nuln, but rather some crazy bastard in Marienburg. EDIT: I have since been corrected that it was in fact invented in Nuln even though Marienburg commissioned it.

"we could build it in the shape of a boat to appeal to their excesive love for vanity!". The burgomaisters loved it, and unlucky for them, asked to have built a dozen of them xD When Tamur'kan was about attack Nuln, the 3 first Land ships were about to be delivered to Marienburg, instead, the elector countess of Nuln asked to use them for the imcomimg fight, and Marienburg accepted, for a hefty price of course.

I am getting the 3. I boycotted SoC because of the bad practices they did, and the general lackluster update it came with it, and now I fell obligated to support this great change they are doing. Just like there was punishment, there should also be a reward. Proof that we wont only ask for change, but support it. Even if I wasn't buying the trifecta, the only faction I wouldn't have brought was Nurgle because of his state before the rework, he didnt look fun. But now? After the rework? might as well buy it and give papa Nurgle a chance!

I never liked the cyclical system, now theyve largely got rid of it (apart from military buildings) definetily giving them a try now​@Machina_EX_Machina

it has manual/targeted fire with the culverin, so you have to line up shots with that. but yeah everything else is automated in terms of the shooting

I've seen how they perform on Outriders (wgich also get then) and truth be told, they seemed quite underwhelming. Then again, there might be something janky going on with Outrider aim since they seemed to shoot way too high.
