"The Crow and the Nightingale" is the second single taken from Marillion's upcoming live-release "An Hour Before It's Dark: Live in Port Zélande 2023". The song captivates with its powerful lyrics combined with a melacholic orchestra that carries you away.
From Friday, March 17th, to Sunday, March 19th, 2023, the Marillion weekend took place at Center Parcs, Port Zélande, The Netherlands. On Saturday night, Marillion performed their latest album “An Hour Before It’s Dark” in its entirety. Their impressive live shows, with stunning projections and laser effects, add to Marillion’s reputation as being one of the leading musicians of today.

Of course it is! All the other songs are just replays of albums past. It's ridiculous. Put a full album out with new content. I am tired of paying for the same content over and over and over again. I love them, but I have enough copies of all these songs in so many different formats.

Absolutely brilliant,l was blown away when they played crow and the Nightingale, Easter.Neverland,and the rest of àn hour before Dark pluse 3 encores ,,At the Halls in Wolverhampton uk.what a venue the acoustics were out of this world what a venue.

A rare occasion where, unless they’d have the Choir Noir live on stage, the studio/album version is better. Don’t get me wrong: this is still an amazing live performance but the subtle buildup with the strings, the choir and Steve’s solo on the studio album is near, if not perfect !

I went to their site,would have bought this album, only to find out it's only half of what is coming out. The rest not coming out till next year. I loved and followed this band for years. This release schedule is ridiculous. I have had enough. You want to please your fans, then do so, quit screwing us. You are all to old to fuck around with your loyal fans.

Beautiful song by a great band, but why does it sound so flat and muffled? 🤨 You can tell they're on top of their game, but you just can't hear it properly... I thought it was my stereo, but then I watched Hard As Love from Brave Live 2013 and it played just fine. Really bad sound mix here, a shame really.
