My childhood savior. His art saved me. His music kept me going. It sent me to different realms. I don't know him. All I know is his songs and this album will forever have a special place in my heart. I always go back. My safe space is here. I related with chaos as well. I am ill so that song was just like gleefully accepting the most depressing part about yourself. I'm a survivor of SA. But I can't stop listening to his music. It's a part of me.

waphleez It does a bit but it's excellent musically, like a STEP UP in many ways. It's hard to theme this kind of sound to have more substance, but it has more with Manson doing this theme than any other artist I'd wager. Lyrics are fucked up too, and satisfying.

John Clingan But most of the triptych albums were diverse, mechanical animals having a huge difference compared to Anti-Christ. But they all had a story arc, multiple ideals and theologies, they pushed the boundaries, they also had a huge variety in songs, so there was something for most people. The newer albums have mostly similar songs, with only a few standing out. I feel it lacks the heart of the originals. Im not saying MM should stop doing music, far from it! But he needs a higher budget and more inspiration. The newer ones scream of cliché, sell out and cheapness.

I have no idea how to explain the feeling that this song gives me. A mix of pain, sadness, hope, strength... The music gives me goosebumps, the words make me cry my fucking eyes out. It's something about this song's meaning that I understand, but can't explain to anyone. It's something about it that brings out of my soul my inner injured self and makes me forget about all of the masks and the roles I play to swim on the surface of the world. It makes me remember that I am alive, a living human being with thoughts and feelings, not just a fucking tool or a robot. I love this album and Marilyn Manson. Thank you for letting me be myself. Thank you for bringing out the pain and letting it flow through your songs. I will always stand by you

The sky was blonde like her It was a day to take the child Out back and shoot it. I could have buried all my dead Up in her cemetery head She had dirty word witchcraft I was in the deep end of her skin. Then, it seemed like a one car wreck But I knew it was a horrid tragedy. Ways to make the tiny satisfaction disappear. Blow out the candles On all my frankensteins. At least my death wish will come true. You taste like Valentine's and We cry, You're like a birthday. I should have picked the photograph It lasted longer than you. Putting holes in happiness. We'll paint the future black If it needs a color. My death sentence is now a story Who'll be digging when you finally let me die? The romance of our assassination If you're Bonnie, I'll be your Clyde. But the grass is greener here and I can see all of your snakes. You wear your ruins well Please run away with me to hell. Blow out the candles On all my frankensteins. At least my death wish will come true. You taste like Valentine's and We cry, You're like a birthday. I should have picked the photograph It lasted longer than you.

I'm sorry, but I can't. It's more than ten women. How the fuck is everyone lying? I used to love Manson, I still have all his albums at home, but I can't be a fan anymore, I just like his music and that's it. He disappointed me. I'm a woman and I'd be afraid to be in the same room as him after all these accusations. I just don't feel the same way. Still a brilliant artist, but I can't forgive him. He got a special place in my teenage years, but it's time to grow up and face the truth: he's not the hero I thought he was.
@Wobbox2 жыл бұрын
But. It is not more than 10 women. It’s about 5, all of which who are friends and if their own admission sat down and wrote their stories- err statements together. ERW is behind the whole hoax. Then anyone who ever had an edgy interaction with Manson jumped on the bandwagon to get a little spotlight. Interesting how she named him right after he gets married to his GF of 10 years Lindsay, happily I might add. Don’t take everything you hear at face value. There is TONNES of information out there about this and he has no criminal charges it’s all civil. Esme Bianca went to him first and asked for 10 million. When he said no she made the exact same allegation that Her friend ERW made. The photos she provided are sketchy at best and I dare say her CIVIL case against him is probably going to be lost. No this whole thing wreaks of revenge plotting. Suddenly a few washed up models and actresses found themselves in the spotlight and on covers again. But I know you will probably just ignore this and like all the other sheep believe everything you’re told. However, in the event that you do want to hear interviews from people who were around at the time they were supposedly abused, Colonel Kurtz here on KZfaq has interviewed exes, personal assistants, people who worked closely and even his close friend Manzin and they all refute much of the BS. Especially Paula his assistant who had actual text exchanges to back her up and Manzin who hung out with them when ERW was around and attested to her character and habits. And Col Kurtz was not a fan when she started to look into it, she just felt something was off. Do what you will with my information, even if nothing at all. I don’t consider it a waste of time even if you spit on it or make fun of me, whatever. What these women have done is appropriated the Metoo movement for financial gain, spitting in the face of real Victims (a category to which I belong) and it’s sickening.

Even his worst album is still pretty damn good. This song stayed in my head and heart since I was a teenager. I fell in love with these bitter, lamenting lyrics. And the subtle way the music and Manson's multi-tracked vocals seem to get louder during the chorus just slaps.

I still can't believe there are human beings on this planet that think this album is bad. I'd say it's his best.

Not my favorite, but it's far from being bad. I think some people just don't like this "emo Manson" lol. They'd rather listen to heavier albums such as "Antichrist Superstar" instead of something more melodic and romantic. Nowadays my biggest problem with the "Eat Me Drink Me" album is the fact that Evan Rachel Wood suffered a lot in his hands, I've never seen Manson the same way after a dozen of women called him out for his abusive behavior. Now I just can't buy this "romantic Manson" anymore cause I think he doesn't know what true love is, maybe only sick love. As a woman, this album scares me a little. I used to see Manson as the perfect man when I was a teenage, now I see he can be pretty violent and hard to deal with. I feel bad for every woman who dated him, even though his love songs are the best for me.

@@semnome9536 considering the information that is out there about how manson is like as a boyfriend, it just doesn't add up to the woman that say these things allegedly happened. He is considered a chump, not hard to trick into thinking you were the right girl for him when in reality most weren't good for him. Idk where your opinions stand but it's not really looking good for the accusers right now.
